BLIND SPOT

It's been a month.

A month since the chips were removed.

A month since Merida disappeared seeking revenge.

A month since they found out about Astrid and Heather.

A month since Astrid had that dream.

A month since the Hofferson's became a family again.

A month since Hiccups big breakup.

A month since Dagur arrived.

A month since Snoutlout died ever so tragically.

A month since Astrid and Heather removed all the money from their bank accounts and put them in their newly made accounts.

A month since the girls got all the stuff from their appartment to the hotel.

A month since all the drama.

"Astriiid we're gonna be late" Hiccup whined plomping himself on his bed.

"I know it will take just two minutes" she said for the fifth time.

"You said that ten minutes back" Hiccup called out and he could actually see Astrid rolling her eyes at him.

"Hiccup it's not like we're performing!" She shouted "we'll be searching the almost empty hotel!" She exclaimed stepping out.

Hiccup was going to protest but stopped when he looked at  Astrid. "Whoo hooh" Hiccup said looking Astrid up and down. She was in a white low cut V-neck sleeveless dress. Astrid blushed "shut up" she said out of embarrassment, causing her face to turn even redder.

"That dress looks like a slip on dress. What took you so long?" Hiccup asked resting himself on his arms that were behind his back on the bed. Astrid lifted her dress to reveal a gun attached to her right thigh. "And there is armour on under this dress."she said.

"You prepare well" he smiled. Astrid smiled back and gestured to him to take her hand so they could leave so that they could just enter along with the others before sneaking out.

He took her hand and they walked out in the direction of the great hall.

...

"Oh and here comes the second  late pair!" Jack exclaimed with sarcasm.

"Astrid was getting ready. We got late" Hiccup replied blandly.

"That's the excuse we got from both sides" Elsa said partly glaring at Fishlegs and Heather.

"Hey it take time to suit up with such a short and tight dress." Heather shot back.

"Wait suit up?" Elsa asked.

"They don't do the whole armour thing Heather" Astrid said and Heather just let out a simple ohhh.

"Armour?" Elsa asked a little shocked.

"Yep we always were bulletproof armour under our dresses" Heather said with a smug smile.

"Wow! Even I want in next time!" She jumped in excitement.

"Definitely" came Heather's and Astrids spontaneous response.

"That does sound good" Hiccup said drifting off into his thoughts.

Suddenly music started playing and the huge crowd began to move. After the opening where all the performers were introduced the gang snuck out and met in the garden.

"Coms in?" Hiccup asked.

"Coms in!" Everyone confirmed.

Well let's go.

Jack and Elsa ran towards the North wing. Hiccup and Astrid towards the East wing and Fishlegs and Heather towards the West wing. This time Dagur stayed back monitoring the security cameras.

"Fish look here" Heather said waving her hands toward herself motioning Fishlegs to follow. He came up to her and stood behind her. She was holding a door to a room open.

"Someone's been in here" she said. "How would you know that?" Fishlegs asked her and she pointed towards the bed.

"There is a small dent on the side of the bed indicating that someone has sat there" she then bent down. "And there are shoe marks left by a light dirt trail." She wiped her pointer finger above the carpet and a bit of dirt stuck to it.

"But that could be how dirty the entire room is" Fishlegs said and Heather bent down and with her pointer other finger she trailed it over another part of the rug which didn't have the foot prints. Her other finger which she used first was more dirty that the one she just used. Hmm Fishlegs hummed nodding. "The bathroom door" she pointed out to it "-is open." They walked inside the bathroom. "Dagur when was this room last used?" Heather asked her brother through her coms. "four days ago, why?" His immediate response came. "because the side of the toilet commode is still wet." She said pointing to the water droplets to the side. "It could be a cleaner" Elsa who had been listening said through the com. "But they wouldn't leave dirty foot prints" Heather argued. "And dirty footprints means this person might be continuously roaming around this hotel from room to room without changing his shoes. So any previous dirt is still on it."  Fishlegs then hummed and started examining the floor and it seems like he found something because he jumped up shouting "Eeurika!"

"What is it Fish?" Heather questioned eagerly.

"You are right and he has left and but the looks of it hes headed to the East wing" Fishlegs concluded. "But just incase we should still patrol around this area"

"I guess we have some hope of finding the dealer" Astrid said throught the coms.

"I hope we do" Hiccup wispers to her and she sighed.

"I really hope we do.." Astrid trailed off.

...

"Nope no one's here!"Hiccup dramatically exclaimed, throwing his hands in the air.

Astrid sighed. She looked around. The rooms looked neat and we'll kept. No stains or scratch marks. She then looked ahead. There was a balcony type structure with stairs on eaither sides, leading to the back gardens. It was a small garden. Very small. There were row chairs and a coffee table. Is was surrounded by a tall bushy fence. Astrid walked towards it. Hiccup followed closely behind. She then looked around carefully. The bushy had thorns in it so there was no way that anyone would sneak through it. She looked at the camera. Both were at an angle. But something was off about it. She looked at them carefully, eyes squinted, and gasped.

"Hiccup look at the cameras!"

Hiccup concentrated on the for a while before his eyes widening.

"Dagur could you please enlarge the screen to these two camera viewings." Hiccup said through his com.

"And?" Dagurs voice rang in their ears.

"Can you see us?" Astrid asked.

"Yes"

She then pulled Hiccup under the camera to the left side, a little to the right of the fence that was there.

"Now can you see us?" Hiccup asked.

"Nope" came Dagurs response.

"Check the cam to our left"

"Only the fence"

"And to the right?'

"I can see just a bit of your hand"

"Hiccup.." Astrid trailed off taking her com off and Hiccup did the same.

"They were using this spot all along. This is their blind spot."

"Smart girl" came clapping from behind them.

And they were less shocked to see who it was.
