Chapter 7

Oof, my unlucky number. Oh well...

This took a bit to get around to writing; mainly because at one point I forgot (Whoops...). But here we are now; with a new chapter

~Rainbow Steve's POV~

"I know you still don't trust us," Sabre starts; leaving me utterly confused. Yeah, I don't trust him that much; but I don't trust many people immediately. "What do you mean?" I ask, my voice going quiet.

"You don't trust me or Shark, is it because of the eyes?" Sabre says, straight up. I stop walking for a moment, and I just look back at Blue Steve. He's walking with Shark, laughing and talking as if he's known him for years. I turn my attention back to Sabre, who also stopped walking with me.

"I mean, yeah that's a factor; but that isn't the only reason," I start, and a gust of cold wind blows by. I shiver slightly, hugging myself while I wear my rainbow hoodie.

"Then what's the other reasons?" Sabre asks and I just look down. For a moment I just stay silent, not moving nor talking. The only sounds around is the other people in the distance and the soft whistle of the wind.

"Well.. For starters, I don't really trust many people from the start," I start with, fighting the urge to just book it and leave Sabre here, alone; in the dust. But that isn't right, so I just start walking again. For a moment he just stays silent, but he also continues to walk again; so I add on to what I said.

"I'm not that trusting towards many people, Blue Steve being the only person I've trusted from the beginning. Another reason why I don't trust both you and Shark, is because you are just.. shady; while he is always looking for something exciting." Sabre chuckles at this, and I just look at him; utterly confused, once again.

"What?" I ask while we continue to walk; Blue Steve and Shark both passed us a while back. "I understand where you get the shady part from, but there's a reason for it; as well as a reason for why we hide our eyes." Sabre says as the dorms get in my sight.

"What's this reason then?" I ask, both with a little suspicion and curiosity in my voice. "You'll find out; sooner or later," he says and then chuckles again. "Someday, maybe Shark will show you his eyes; and if you're lucky, then I might as well," he says and then looks at the ground.  "I'm going to jog the rest of the way, I'll see you whenever you get back to the dorm," Sabre says and then leaves. Great, alone again.

I hate being alone, for the reason of anything could happen. Good or bad. You see, another thing about me is I'm a pessimist; meaning I always see the worst possible outcome. My pace speeds up as I continue to walk towards the collage. Soon my pace of a speed walk quickens into a run as I get closer to the building. 

I feel my phone vibrate in my pocket, but I keep going until I go into the entrance of the building; that's when I finally slow down. I go towards the dorm room.  It doesn't take long for me to go from the lobby to my room, honestly it took longer just being able to get my hands to stop shaking enough for me to put the key in. As soon as I get it in, I fling the door open and Blue Steve hugs me. (Wow, not going to open the door for him? Rude XD)

I blush slightly before I actually hugging him back. Just his presence makes me feel better, and makes me feel safer. After a moment, which seems like not enough time, Blue Steve and I pull away from the hug. 

I blush again, worse than last time, when I hear both Shark and Sabre clearing their throats; signalling their presence.  "What was that about?" Shark says while I believe raising an eyebrow, but it's hard to tell. Blue Steve also blushes slightly, and I let out a soft giggle. 

"N-Nothing," I say and he gives up, clearly still unconvinced. Sabre sits some food down on the table, seeming to have made a meal for us all in inhumanly time, and then smiles. "I made food," he says and we all gather over to the table. 

This is going to be a long day...

Also, sorry kaileebear7 that I made this kinda short, I've been working on it for a few days but I can't think of much for it ;-;
