~Blue Steve's POV~
Something seems off with Rainbow Steve, but I push it off to the side and look at him as my mom leaves the room. "I love you," I murmur, leaning against him.
"I love you too," he says softly. "Do you want to go downstairs and help your mom with the food?" he asks, and I whine.
"Do we have to?" I pout, making him chuckle.
"No, but I wanna help your mom, seeing as she's making us food, after all," he snickers.
"Fineeeeeeee," I whine, and he smiles. He then kisses my lips gently, surprising me. I kiss back, nevertheless, humming in response.
He pulls back moments later, grinning. "Come on, let's go," he says softly.
We both get up, and walk down the stairs, hands intertwined. Mom smiles at me when she sees us, and I blush from it, though not pulling my hand away from Rainbow Steve's. "What are you two boys doing down here? Dinner's not ready yet."
I go to say something, but Rainbow Steve gets there first. "We were wondering if we could help you," he says softly, and mom beams. I typically don't help around the house much, unless Rainbow Steve is here and making me.
"Help is always appreciated, thank you, Rainbow Steve," she smiles brightly. "May you two start making the breadsticks? We just need to put them into the oven for around seven minutes," mom says, and Rainbow Steve nods.
I nod as well, and he walks over to the freezer, pulling the box out. He then puts it down on the counter, and I get the pan out.
We both place them on the pan, and after a moment, we get that completed. We then put the breadsticks into the oven, turning and looking at my mom, whom is making some pasta.
"Anything else you need, Alex?" Rainbow Steve asks, and mom hums in response.
"I don't think so, thank you boys though," she smiles.
"It wasn't a problem," Rainbow Steve beams.
"Yep," I smile, looking back at mom. "How long is it until dinner?"
"Uhhh... about ten more minutes," she says softly. "You two can go hang out now, I can get the rest."
I nod, and grab Rainbow Steve's hand again, dragging him up the stairs before he can protest. He really does love helping, huh?
We go up to my bedroom, and he flops onto the bed. "I can't wait to eat this," he smiles, and I nod.
"Me neither," I smile.
"What shall we do to pass the time?" I ask him, and he smiles. I blush a bit as he pulls me into his lap, and I wrap my arms around his neck.
"I love you," he says softly.
"I love you more," I purr, and he fakes a gasp.
"Nuh-uh, lies. I guess I'll have to prove it," he hums, and I blush. He then kisses me, a bit rougher than any of our other kisses that we're shared so far.
I kiss back though, nevertheless, with a bit more toughness than the others. We pull back after a moment, and I gasp for breath. He pants a bit as well, smirking a bit at me.
"I love you," he murmurs.
"I love you too, Rainbow Steve," I hum, giving up, seeing as he probably won't give up until I agree.
"Y'know, we only have a few more days left," he says softly, and I sigh.
"Yep, after that we're back to the stressful time called being in school," I huff, and he nods.
"Don't worry, I'll help you keeping up with the classes," he smiles, and I nod.
"Thank you..." he smiles. "Y'know, I wonder how Shark and Sabre are doing..." he sighs, and I nod.
"As do I," I say softly.
"How so you think they're going to react when we tell them that we're togethe—" I start before getting cut off by a knock on the door.
Mom comes in my room, smiling a bit. "Dinner's ready, come on downstairs," she hums, leaving immediately after.
I look over at Rainbow Steve, who smiles. I get off his lap, blushing a bit. We both head down the stairs, the scent of the pasta filling our nose.
"Ready to eat?" mom smiles, and we both nod. Dad comes down the stairs, sitting at the table as well, and then we all dig in.

"That was amazing!" Rainbow Steve says, and mom smiles triumphantly.
"It really was, thank you," dad smiles as well.
"We can thank the boys," mom smiles, ruffling up my hair.
"Mom!" I explain, embarrassed, making everyone, including Rainbow Steve, laugh. I pout, making Rainbow Steve hug me.
I huff, continuing to sulk as he holds me close. "We love you, son," dad smiles, and I nod.
"I love you all," I smile.
"You two should head to bed now, before gets too late," mom suggests, and Rainbow Steve nods.
"Alright, I love you mom, I love you dad," I hum, walking up the stairs. Rainbow Steve stays close behind me, and I head up to the bathroom to brush my teeth.
Since me and Rainbow Steve hang out all the time, he had his own toothbrush here as well, and we both quickly brush our teeth, then walk back into my bedroom.
He flops down on the bed before I can, and I pout. "Meanie," I huff, jumping onto the bed as well. I pull him close, snuggling against him. He wraps his arm around me, pulling the blanket over the both of us.
"You love me," he hums.
"Mhm, I do," I huff. "And you love me as well, right?"
"Yes, I do love you," he smiles softly. "Now, go to sleep, Blue Steve," he says softly.
I sigh, hesitantly nodding.
"Goodnight," I say softly, yawning.
"Night, love," he hums, and immediately after, I fall asleep.
