Forever Begins

Chapter 1: A Girl of Dreams

In a land called Meridia where Kings and factions fight for power. Greedy nobles fighting for position. Soldiers unworthy to the cause.But in a small village outside the city wall, there lived a girl whose name was Ana. She was a very nice girl who loved her family more than she loved herself. Many suitors came to visit her but none was able to captivate her heart. Ana had only one bestfriend her name was Jane. Jane always supportive of Ana also took care of her whenever men came chasing after Ana. Ana was so beautiful like the moon with her soft tan skin. Combined with her brown long her and sky blue eyes. She was anything a man would hope for to be their wife. Ana and Jane was walking through the woods early morning talking and chatting about crazy things. Suddenly Jane asked.......

"Ana have you considered marrying?" Jane asked.

"Actually I have." ,she replied. Ana continued, "But I don't know who to choose because they are all the same. They're all rude and clumsy, arrogant especially very high esteemed of theirselves. "

Jane answered, "Yeah. Its very hard to find a man with rare qualities that women like."

"What kind of qualities?", Ana replied.

Jane answered with shock, "What? You have many suitors and you don't know what qualities you like about boys."

"I haven't thought about it actually maybe I will just fall in love." Ana mused.

Jane laughed then said, "Lets hope Prince charming comes for you."

As the two girls kept talking and laughing, suddenly a crack of wood was heard from behind them. Three men came out of the woods wearing cloaks with swords at their sides. They came asking for directions. Ana immediately saw one of them wearing a hood and a mask to cover his face. She wondered why would this fellow wear a mask to conceal his face. Was he someone important or ashamed of his appearance?

The strangers suddenly asked the girls, "Excuse me ladies, might I ask which way to the village?"

Ana replied, "Take the east road then head north."

"Thank you for your assistance so long", the strangers nodded back.

As the strangers left for the village. Ana couldn't stop to wonder who might be the man in the hood. Ana said to herself, "Why would a man hide his face in a forest where people don't spend much time around". Ana knew this man wasn't taking any chances of being discovered who he was.

It was already nightfall so Ana and Jane decided to return to the village.Jane said to Ana, "Its getting late we should return to the village"

Ana replied, "Your probably right father would scold me if I am not back in time."

So the girls went back in the village. Jane accompanied Ana home so she would arrive safely. As they neared Ana's house, Jane saw Ana occupied with a thought.

Jane asked Ana, "What's wrong? Something on your mind?"

Ana said, "What do you mean? Nothing's wrong don't be silly."

"Oh c'mon tell me already, what got you occupied so much", Jane replied.

Ana said gently, "I was just wondering who might be the man with the mask.

Jane laughed hilariously and said, "Oh silly, don't worry about him maybe he's just like that."

Ana did not heed the words of Jane she wanted to find out who the man is. Something inside her was urging to know the man in the hood. As she entered door of her house, she walked through the stairs up to her room. Wondering when will she leave this place to be with the man she dreams to be. She walked through her room and leaped into her bed, feeling tired and weary reeling thoughts just wouldn't leave her mind. She tried to sleep and rest for it has been a long day for her. Everyday Ana has suitors visiting her hoping to capture her heart. Ana wouldn't just would not give in to this men for they were cruel and rude people. As she lay there in her bed she finally went to sleep throwing all cares aside.

Ana dreamed of a man walking beside her it was the man in the hood. She felt safe around him somehow it felt everything was alright. He held her tightly not wanting to let go as if they loved each other. Ana couldn't shake the feeling that this was the man of her dreams, but who is he? Suddenly Ana woke up sweating on her back realizing it was only a dream. She couldn't go back to sleep, how could she? She dreamed of the man she was going to be with. All her life she looked for him suddenly its near, or was it really just a dream not reality. Ana immediately thought maybe it was just an illusion maybe she was just really dreaming. Her dream just made her more eager to know who the man in the hood is. She wanted to see if her dream was a sign of her husband to be.
