Gabriel went to his room it has been a long day he was now tired and weary. He kept thinking of Ana wondering what she might be doing, was she also thinking of him? The thought made Gabriel more nervous, nervous than having seeing his father angry. Was this really love he was feeling or is it just somethinge else? What could it be for he was certain Ana was the one for her. But what if she doesn't think the same about him. Gabriel shook his head and tried to sleep for he believed nothing will happen if he kept thinking about it.

Ana reached her home as she walked along the village. She opened the door of her house as she looked around in her house. Ana could not shake the feeling that somehow she would be leaving this place. All her life she spent with her family with suitors visiting her daily and none able to captivate her. But a man whom she just met gave her hope and comfort unlike any other. She said to herself, "Could people really fall in love so fast?". Ana believed it was possible but was he feeling the same about her. As Ana walked up the wooden stairs and entered her room, she lay in her bed to rest. After all it has been a long and wonderful day. How could she not feel good? She just met the love of her life.

Gabriel woke up early in the morning to do his usual routine. He went into the woods to practice and refine his swordsmanship skills. As he was training he heard a cry for help of a woman. Gabriel rushed to the scene like a knight rescuing a damsel in distress. At last he saw the woman it was Ana and the sight of it made Gabriel's blood boil in anger and hate. The woman was bound and bruised by some cowardly bandits who prey on the weak. The bandits consisted of four members they saw Gabriel and threatened to kill him. Gabriel smirked at them for he knew these men were untrained and only prey on those helpless enough to save themselves.

The bandit leader mocked and said, "Piss off you bloody wanker or we will rip your heart out."

Gabriel answered with anger, "Let the girl go or you will all suffer the consquences. I will kill you all if you insist."

The bandits burst into laughter as they heard Gabriel's words how could he finish off all of them he was only one man they thought. Little do they know Gabriel was the Prince of Meridia son of the King best swordsman of the land how unlucky of them to face him. For they would be given swift deaths.

The bandit leader insultingly said, "Fine! I guess we have no choice but to kill you!"

Gabriel grinned before saying,  "Try and stop me!"

Gabriel charged at them holding his sword high in the air. He was fearless and he had no pity in his eyes on these men he thought of the people these men have killed. He stabbed in the chest the leader of the bandits then turned around to face the others. As the bandits charged at him, Gabriel rolled out of the way then spinning his sword chopped the head of the bandit. Blood was gushing out of his neck the smell of blood made Gabriel's hatred to this men more intense. How could he not be? For they have bound the woman he loves. As they continued to fight swords clashing, Gabriel was like a demon possessed as he finished them off one by one.

After killing all bandits, Gabriel rushed to Ana's aid removing all that binded her. He tried to wake her up, finally she did. Gabriel stared at her he just knew this woman was her match. He would go far as to break the law his father decreed just to be with this woman.

Ana said, "Gabriel? Is that you?"

Gabriel replied, "Yes its me your safe now."

Ana gratefully answered, "Thank you for saving me."
