Chapter Six

•Ashton's POV•
The next morning me and Luke met at the park, and walked to school. I hated this place why did we have to go? When we where in the entrance Luke pulled me in front of him, looked me in the face and said:
"Ashton you don't have to be afraid to show how you feel..I'm not..ok? And I just want you to know I love you no matter what." He said while looking me in the face.
"Oh ok?" I said in confusion
He looked at me without saying anything, then he kissed me. I front of the entire school.
"Hey look those to guys are kissing!" One guy shouted
Other people where saying eww and glaring but I didn't really mind. We started to walk towards the school, holding hands, and smiling. We walked in without a care in the world what Melissa or Riley or anyone really could say. They didn't matter, at least not to me or Luke. We walked into social study's and started our day.
School was just a regular day, nothing different except "coming out" to the school I guess. Me and Luke walked home together, today I couldn't go over to his place. His mom was coming home from the business trip, I hated not being able to see him.
"Alright babe, you know, this is my house." Luke said sighing.
I pouted,quivering my lip.
"Do you really have to go?" I said sadly
"Yes ash you know my moms back, after you can come over ok?" He said.
I shook my head, he kissed my forehead.
"Bye babe, love you!" He said walking up his driveway.
"Bye babe, love you more!" I said walking away.
I miss him already. When I got home my mom stopped me at the counter.
"Um Ashton? Why did your friend Melissa tell me she seen you kissing Luke? Is there something you wanted to tell me?" She said with concern in her voice.
My eyes got huge and I froze.
"First she's not my friend anymore and yeah..I would like to tell you something..." I said awkwardly. "So recently me and Luke..have been dating..sort of." I said scared to look at her.
"Really? That's ok! I love you just as much!" She said smiling.
I got up and hugged her. I ran up to my room, I checked to see a text from Luke.
From: babe <3 : hey Babe, you can come over now.
I bolted up excited, ran downstairs, told my mom I was going to his house and ran outside. I grabbed my skateboard and started going. On my way there I seen a group of boys that went to my school, awkwardly I looked away hoping they wouldn't see me. Of course they seen me, they started whispering. I kept riding, faster, and faster until they started chasing me. They started throwing rocks at me. I kept going faster and faster until one of the rocks got stuck in the wheel of the board launching me forward. I landed on my arm, I couldn't move it. They caught up, they started kicking and punching me. I didn't understand what I did. Then they ran, far away. With my one good arm I called Luke.
"Hey babe, you on your way?" He said happily.
"I was, I think I broke my arm luke, I'm in front of the park. A bunch of boys came and beat me up. I'm hurting Luke." I said crying.
He didn't even respond, I heard him drop his phone and run out the door. A few minutes later he came and ran over to me.

•Luke's POV•
I ran over to Ashton as fast as I could. I put his head in my leg, I was hugging him telling everything was ok. I couldn't bare seeing him like this.
"I will call 911 ok? They will help." I said stroking his forehead.
He grimaced because of the pain. Soon the ambulance came and took him away. I cried sitting there on the sitting on the sidewalk because they wouldn't let me come with him. I told him I loved him, he passed out. I ran home crying.
