Chapter 14

ONE WEEK AFTER GRADUATION
•Luke's POV•
"That's the one." I said while pointing to the ring in the glass case.
The cashier grabbed it out and put it on the counter, I smiled. After I payed I walked out with the biggest smile on my face. I knew I was making the right decision, I knew after this I would be the happiest person ever. Ashton was the one I decided to spend my life with. I put the case in my pocket, walking to my house. When I got to my house my mom told me Ashton was on his way home from the store, perfect. I put a suit on and waited, I was a nervous wreck. I decided to stay in my room to wait. Then he walked in.
"Luke..? What are you doing?" He said giggling.
"Ashton, since the day I met you I loved you, and everyday I fall more in love with you." I said while getting down on one knee.
"I don't know what I would do without you Ashton,will you marry me?" I said tearing up.
"Luke, yes. Yes I will!" He said crying.
I put the ring on his finger while standing up, hugging him.
"Don't cry" I said while letting out a small laugh.
We walked down to the kitchen to see my mom crying harder than ever.
"My little boy is all grown up." She said smiling.
"Mom don't cry either, It's okay" I said hugging her.
My mom ran into the pantry, she started throwing boxes of cake mix out.
"Mom what are you doing?" I said.
"I NEED HELP DECIDING WHICH ONE TO MAKE ASHTON HELP ME PICK!" She screamed from the pantry.
I closed my eyes with my hand on my head.
"Mother.." I said laughing.
After I took the suit off, me, Ashton, and my mom where making a cake. I grabbed some flour and clapped, flour going everywhere.
"Luke!" My mom said while hitting my with a wooden spoon.
"Not fair!" I said laughing.
Ashton grabbed sprinkles and poured them all over my head, laughing. My jaw dropped open.
"Ashton!" I said while wiping the top of my head off.
Suddenly my mom and Ashton grabbed the frosting and eggs, my mom was throwing eggs at me while Ashton put frosting on my head. My jaw dropped to the floor, I ran to the shower.

•Ashton's POV•
I was shocked by the mess me and Luke's mom has just made.
"I will pick this up you go change your clothes" Luke's mom said smiling.
I went upstairs and changed my clothes, I admired my ring. Finally, the day I've been waiting for finally came. I'm happy the day I waited for since I was in middle school, Luke was the man I was going to spend my life with.
"I love him." I said to myself smiling.
Without Luke I don't know how I was going to survive, when I look at him I forget about everything. I promised my self I wasn't going to give up this time, I can't. I sat on the bed while grabbing my phone. I eagerly went to tell Michael and Calum, all of us had a group chat.

A couple minutes later I got a text from Calum.

So cool!

Calum was really supportive, everyone was, I find it hard to believe in the beginning we hated each other. I walked back down the stairs to see Luke sitting on the couch watching tv. He got up yelling at the tv, for god knows what reason.
"Your such a goof" I said while sitting on the couch laughing.
"Your goof" he said while sitting back down.
I laid my head on Luke's lap, while he played with my hair. I started playing with my ring, smiling.
