Chapter five

•Ashton's POV•
Me and Luke, at 2:00 PM watching finding Nemo,when where supposed to be at school, can it get any better than this? But no, it got worse.
From: Melissa , To: Luke : "Where are you guys? Did you skip?" Luke read off his phone.
"Ashton please, they just want to apologize." He said while looking at me.
"No Luke they've done enough." I said rolling my eyes and looking back at the tv.
He gave me puppy dog eyes.
"Pwease? For me?" He said pouting.
"Fineeeeee, Only because your cute." I said back.
We started to walk towards the school, holding hands but made sure no one from the school or anyone we knew could see us. When we got to the school we seen the entire school outside? We where confused. We made sure we where a couple feet apart so it didn't look weird. When we got closer in the front we seen Riley and Melissa. They had there phones out..everyone did. When we got a little closer they started saying something..we couldn't here them. When we got closer we could here what was being said. "GAYBOYS" "LUKE,LIKE YOUR BOYFRIEND" kids where screaming. Then Melissa said something that shocked me.
"Wow you thought someone would actually like you two losers!" She said laughing.
"Hey baby." Michaels said while walking up to Melissa and grabbing her waist. She turned around and kissed him.
"wha- WE HELPED YOU? AND YOUR BACK WITH HIM?" Luke screamed.
"Silly kids, it was all a joke." Said Calum while he did the same Michael did, but to Riley.
Everyone was laughing, I was humiliated.
"Come on Ashton..let's go." Luke said.
I followed him, thinking no one else would, but I was wrong. The entire school started to follow, running.
"Uh luke.." I said tapping his shoulder.
Her turned around, he's eyes got huge.
"RUN!" He yelled.
We bolted, running as fast as possible. We ran all the way to the playground, under the jungle gym. They ran right past us, not even checking where we were. We sat there,curled in a tiny ball, waiting, hoping they wouldn't find us. We stayed in that position for about another 3 hours. We both got out, we decided to run all way to his house. We ran all the way, even though no one was following us, just to be sure. Once we got there, we locked the doors, windows, everything. We walked in the kitchen.
"Well...that went...well..." Luke said.
I sighed.
"How do they know? Who told them?" I said
"Babe, no one told them. No one knows, you know that." He said looking at me.
"I know just..why.. I actually thought she was a real friend." I said sighing
"I know babe." He said while kissing my forehead.
"I love you." I said while hugging him.
He didn't answer, he just smiled.
"Stop." I said laughing, smiling.
He always knew how to cheer me up.

•Luke's POV•
Me and Ashton sat there, for ten minutes, just standing there, hugging. Today was absolutely terrible, tomorrow I have a plan but I'm not telling ash. I'm going to kiss him in front of everyone, to show them I'm dating the same gender and there's nothing they can do about it. Ashton pulled out of the hug, then looked at his arm. He started to take the bandages off.
"No, keep them on there going to start bleeding again." I said putting my hand in his shoulder. I remember the first time I seen Ashton self harming..it was not a good day..

*Flashback*
"I'm here!!" I yelled so Ashton would hear me.
5 minted passed..then 10.. without and answer? I creeped up the stairs to see where he was. I looked in his room, he was gone. I checked every single room in his house except one..the bathroom. I knocked on the door.
"Hey ash? You in there?" I said concerned
I heard sniffling like someone was crying.
"Yeah I will be right there." He said slowly.
I opened the door anyway to see the floor covered in blood.
"Asht- what did you do?" I said shocked
"GET OUT I SAID I WOULD COME OUT!" He screamed.
I slammed the door shut, then we went along the day normally.

•Luke's POV•
I kissed Ashton, pulling him in a hug one more time.
"Ashton Fletcher Irwin I love you so much, words cannot describe how much you mean to me. Your everything I need in this world. I would be lost without you." I said swaying us back and forth.
"I love you to babe." He said running his hand in my hair. 
I looked up, looking at him and kissed his lips. He was perfect. I didn't exactly care what anyone else thought about us.
"Want to go on a walk?" I said.
"Sure!" Ashton said back.
We started walking, no destination. We walked into the woods, we seen a raccoon running along a trail. Cute, I thought. Now that I think about it, I miss being a little kid. Playing in the sand, had nothing to worry about. Life was easy.
