Chapter one

•Ashton's POV•
I was sleeping peacefully until I heard my alarm go off, miserably I reached over it turn it off. I slowly got up and yawned. Today was my first day at a new school, great. I threw on a band tee and skinny jeans and headed downstairs. I grabbed a Appel off the counter, grabbed my book bag and headed out the door. Being an only child, 16, getting ready in the morning wasn't a hassle and my mom being asleep at this time it was pretty easy. Once I got on the bus I texted Luke, my bestfriend, since as long as I could remember. He's been going to this school almost a year longer than I have, we used to go to the same school but the prank he pulled got home kicked out.

~from~Luke, Hey same. I hate mornings. ~
Once we go to school I found Luke and started walking to our lockers, somehow mine was only a few away from his. While walking down the hall I seen a girl typing away at her phone.
"Who's that? I asked Luke.
"Riley,the most popular girl in school, along with the girl standing next to her, Melissa, her sister. Those boys, are Michael and Calum are there boyfriends."
"Well whose dating who?" I asked.
"Michael and Melissa, Riley and Calum." He said.
I just shook my head staring. Then Michael put his arm around Melissa's waist and they walked into a class room. Calum kisses Riley, they walked into separate classrooms.
"What's your first class?" Luke asked.
"Social study's you?" I asked back.
"Same, we better get going or we're going to be late." He hurried.
"Since when do you obey the rules?" I laughed while I said it.
He just glared at me, typical Luke. While we walked to class, we laughed about inside jokes. When we walked in I seen Michael and Melissa playing around,laughing. Melissa was playing with Michaels green hair. I rolled my eyes. "How gross" I thought. When the teacher walked in everyone rolled their eyes, we were all preparing for the most dreadful hour of our lives.
After class me and Luke put our books in our lockers and talked until it was time for English. Another hour of pure hell. At lunch me and Luke sat down and all we did was mess around on our phones. All of a sudden there was a huge argument break out, it looked like Michael and Melissa. They where yelling so loud at each other.
"REALLY MICHAEL WITH HER? MY SISTER? ARE YOU SERIOUS?!" Melissa screamed.
"I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT YOUR TALKING ABOUT? WHAT DO YOU EVEN MEAN?" Michael was screaming back. You could tell he was hiding something. Soon Riley stood up,she had no idea what she was getting herself into. She started to say something but Melissa raised her hand and slapped her sister. She stormed over to the table me and Luke were sitting at. The only table with two people at it now had three. Michael stormed over and sat next to her. He grabbed her shoulder trying to make her face him but she yelled.
"DONT TOUCH ME MICHAEL. WE WHERE MUCH BETTER FRIENDS THAN WE ARE NOW." She yelled in his face.
"WELL IS THAT WHAT YOU WANT? BECAUSE IF IT IS THEN SURE MELISSA WE CAN CALL IT OFF BUT IM JUST LETTING YOU KNOW THE LAST TWO YEARS HAVE BEEN THE BEST OF MY LIFE. YOU MAKE ME SO HAPPY BUT IF THIS IS WHAT YOU WANT GO FOR IT,YOU DESERVE TO BE HAPPY." He screamed back, now tears rolling down his face. 
A single tear went down her face, she nodded her head up and down. He stormed out.
The whole lunch room was silent no one said a word. The only two who were talking was Riley and Calum.
"Is that true babe? Did you cheat on me?" Calums voice started to get weaker and weaker. She shook her head yes. He stood up and walked out the same way Michael went. Much more civilized I thought. Riley looked ashamed she put her head down. Everyone started to talk, everyone except Melissa and Riley.  I looked at Luke, saying nothing we both looked at Melissa. I spoke up.
"Hey, it will get better that guy looked like a douche anyway." I said while putting my hand in her arm. She looked at me, you could see the hurt in her eyes. She didn't say anything but smiled, she was beautiful. After lunch me, Luke, And Melissa had all classes together. We talked and laughed, we did anything we could to cheer her up. When school was over and we where getting our bags Melissa came up to me and Luke.
"Hey, thanks for making my day better. I owe you. Can we maybe be friends?" She asked
"Sure of course!" I said, Luke saying the same.
"Call me okay?" She said while putting her number into our phones.
We shook our heads. The bus was boring.. when I got home me,Luke, and Melissa FaceTimed until 12:00. We all agreed it was way to late and we needed to go to bed, we said our goodbyes and went to sleep.

So first chapter! I'm really excited for this one!
