Ricky's POV
"Can I speak to you for a second?" I asked, my voice shaking.
"Of course" Kate said, she sounded upset. That didn't help the way I was feeling. "I'm sorry for what I did earlier, I didn't know what I was thinking." I said.
She smiled at me again. "It's fine, don't worry about it." Kate said as I hugged her. She still sounded upset, which made me feel worse.
"Are you okay?" I asked breaking away from the hug.
"Yeah. I'm fine. You better go to set, they'll be needing you."
"I have time, I'm still really early. What's up?" I asked worriedly. She was about to say something, then hesitated and changed her mind.
"It doesn't matter" Kate said shaking her head.
"Sure?"
Kate nodded and I turned and walked away, I wasn't going to bother her if she didn't want to tell me.
Kate's POV
I was going to tell him but it was too risky. I couldn't risk everything I have for it, could I?
As we walked away I was so close to crying. I haven't felt this way about anyone before. Each step he took killed me.
As he closed the door behind him tears started to fall. I called my mum as she was the only person I could talk to without being judged.
"Hi darling" mum said gently.
"Mum" I sobbed.
"What's the matter?" Mum asked.
I told her everything that happened, telling someone made me feel a little but better.
"I knew you liked him. But you have to tell him, it's not good for you to not to. It's going to effect you badly if you keep it in for too long."
My mum had a point. But telling him could risk my career. I finished the phone call with my mum and fixed myself up.
There was one question that kept going round in my head, the one I love or my career?
