Chapter Sixteen

Kate's POV

Soon after we had to go to the BBC studio. I was still reeling from what Ricky said in the car, I knew that I was so lucky to have him no matter what we argued about.

The blind auditions were over and Ricky had to prepare for the battles. I could tell that he was nervous, even though he wouldn't admit it.

I did his make up quickly before pecking him on the lips. I was more busy than I was before, now I had to do Ricky's team as well.

I hurried around as I tried to do everyone's make up as quickly as I could. The last person sat down, she had bright red her and pale skin but insanely beautiful.

She looked me up and down with her dark blue eyes before smirking at me.

"You must be the girl Ricky keeps on going on about, you fit his description perfectly." She said

I made him promise before we came not to even hint to anyone that we were dating, typical Ricky.

I got started on her make up, "you must really love him" she said again.

"I do" I replied, there was no point in trying to deny it now.

"Have you shagged him yet?" She asked quickly.

"Sorry, what did you say?" I asked in disbelief.

"Have you shagged him yet?" She asked again.

"No, we've only been dating for a few days." I said going back to the make up. 

"You're very lucky to have him. He should be with someone who's in the spotlight rather than someone behind the scenes."  She said happily.

"What makes you say that?" I asked through gritted teeth.

"Because then he would be with someone with some actual talent." She said before getting up.

I was sorting out the make up when Ricky came back in. He wrapped his arms around me and kissed me on the cheek.

"You've told people already I heard" I said turning around and placing my arms around his neck.

"She told you, didn't she?" He asked burying his head in my neck.

"She did" I said. "Now you better go before we get shouted at."

I kissed him quickly and he walked to the door, turned around and winked at me before walking off.

They cut for a break and I had to quickly redo everyone's make up in the short space of time I had.

"Have you seen Ricky or Abbey yet?" Kylie asked popping her head round the door.

"Not yet" I said

"I'll go get them." Kylie said walking off.

Ten minutes later and neither Kyle, Ricky or Abbey had turned up. I went to go and find them.

Kylie was stand outside a door along the corridor. "I'm so sorry" Kylie said sympathetically when I arrived behind her.

"What do you mean?" I asked her. I moved so I can see what was going on through the half open door.

Abbey was straddling Ricky and her hands were making their way down Ricky's chest down to his crotch where they stopped.

It took them a full five minute before they noticed me and Kylie were standing there.
