Chapter Thirty Three

Ricky's POV

"Ricky! Kate!" We were woken by being shouted at and jumped on by Hollie. Hollies cuddled up in between us. "What's on your face?" Kate asked, pointing to the cuts on Kate's face. "It's nothing darling" Kate said softly while stroking Hollie's hair.

Hollie looked at her in disbelief for a second before smiling. I stared at them for a while, I'm the luckiest man in the world.

I had a quick shower before playing with Hollie. She looked so much like Kate it was unreal. The way she was always smiling shows that she takes after Kate, too.

Kate suddenly got up and rushed to the bathroom. She's been doing that for the last couple of days.

I went and held her hair back. "Are you okay?" I asked as she was cleaning herself up. "Yeah I'm fine" she said quickly, but I knew what she was thinking.

I took the first chance I could to pop out to the shops. I was anxious and nervous for the whole journey, it seemed to take forever.

The cashier looked at me, then at the pregnancy test and then back at me. She definitely recognised me but didn't say anything.

I just wanted to get back and find out the result. I was hoping the test would come out positive. I wanted a child with Kate so badly and it would be nice to give Kate a younger brother/sister to play with.

I handed Kate the pregnancy test as soon as I got in and waited nervously outside the bathroom door. I looked over at Hollie playing with her dolls on the carpet, she was so innocently unaware of what was going on.

Kate came out a few minutes later and she froze. "Kate?"

I sat her down, she was shaking so much. "What's wrong?" I asked worriedly. "Rick, I'm pregnant."
