Kate's POV

A couple of days later we got to go home. "Are you ready for your surprise?" Ricky asked as I was fiddling with the keys. "As ready as I'll ever be" I said finally finding the right key to unlock the door.

I pushed the door open and stepped inside, closely followed by Ricky. was the sound of footsteps running along the landing and before I knew it, I was nearly on the floor.

"KATE!!!!" A little girls voice boomed in my ear.

I looked over my shoulder to Ricky and he mouthed the word surprise. I smiled at him quickly before hugging Hollie. I went to sit on the sofa and Hollie sat on my lap telling me whats she has been doing over the past couple of weeks.

I kept glancing over at Ricky sitting opposite us, he was sitting there staring at us smiling. I know he said that we could take her home for good but I didn't think he actually meant it, or at least it wouldn't be so sudden.

Later on that evening we all were cuddled on watching The Lion King eating ice cream and sweets. After the film Ricky jumped up from the sofa and stretched. "I better be off" he said getting his things together.

Hollie got up to hug Ricky and started to cry. "I want you to stay" Hollie sobbed as Ricky bent down to give her a hug.

He whispered something into Hollie's ear and she nodded. She ran back and jumped on the sofa and put her head on my stomach. I smiled and stroked her brown hair as Ricky kissed me goodbye.

"Ew" Hollie said and covered her eyes as we kissed.

"You'll probably kiss boys when you get older" I said smiling  at her innocence. "No I won't" Hollie protested and I chuckled lightly.

Ricky went and I eventually got Hollie to go to sleep. After ten minutes of Ricky leaving I got a text from him.

"I think I left my wallet at your house, can you check the coffee table drawer? xx"

I went downstairs to check, I opened the drawer not to find Ricky's wallet but a Pandora box.
