Ricky's POV

She reluctantly climbed back into bed and we laid there for a while, not saying anything. There was a wet patch on my shirt from where her wet hair was. I find it weird that something as small as having my arms around her makes me so happy. I put my head her shoulder and closed my eyes. "Don't fall to sleep on me" Kate said, I smiled and lifted my head up to look in the eyes.

Her eyes were an emerald green and they sparkled in the light coming from the window. I kissed her on the forehead before she got up and walked out without saying anything. I laid on my back smiling to myself for a while before joining Kate in the kitchen.

"Smells good" I said walking through the door. She smiled briefly before wiping her eyes with the back of her hands. "What's wrong?" I asked wrapping my arms around her waist.

She remained silent, which made me panic a little. "Tell me the whats wrong" I said firmly. "I love you and I want to help you, but I can't if you don't tell me."

"Ricky, its fine." Kate said irritability.

"Just tell me" I said raising my voice. "Why can't you just tell me?"

"Its nothing" Kate said quietly.

"Its obviously something, otherwise you wouldn't be crying over it." I said angrily. She fell silent again, she didn't move an inch either.

"I don't have to tell you everything" Kate said trying to stay as calm as possible. "You don't trust me, do you?" I asked

"Don't be ridiculous, of course I do."  Kate turned around to look at me, she looked angry and scared at the same time. "If you trusted me, you would tell me."

"I don't have to tell you everything, stop being so paranoid." Kate said, walking away from me. I grabbed her arm and pulled her back, "you're telling me."

"I don't have to tell you anything" Kate snapped. At that point I lost it, I pushed her up against a wall and pinned her there with her arms above her head. "Tell me" I hissed.

She just stared at me, refusing to say a word. She tried to wiggle free but my grip round her wrists tightened. "Rick, let go" she winced. I let go and she dropped to the floor.

Her eyes filled with tears as she looked up at me. "My sister, she's in hospital."
