Kate's POV

"This isn't what it looks like."  Ricky said standing up. I didn't want hear his generic excuses, I didn't want any of them to see me cry either. I walked away as fast as I could to the nearest toilet.

I ignored Ricky as yelled my name and told me to come back. People stared at me as I rushed past them.

I just wanted to disappear. I went through to the toilet to calm myself down, my phone kept on going off. I didn't want to speak to anyone so I just left it.

I looked at myself in the mirror, I really did look as bad as I felt. After a while and when I was sure that everyone was gone I slipped out of the bathroom and out the back door.

I needed the fresh air, I felt like I couldn't breathe. I sat on the top step and let the door close behind me.

I had a feeling that someone was behind me, watching me. I turned around and no one was there.

I turned back around but I couldn't shake the feeling that someone was there.

I put it down to the state I was in and tried my best to ignore it.  I wasn't prepared to forgive Ricky but at the same time I wanted to.

I really should've seen this coming. I knew that it could never work, so why did I let myself fall head over heels in love with him?

He's the only person who can make me feel truly special, I thought I mattered to him. I guess I was another plain face in the crowd.

I looked up and there was a girl standing there looking at me. She ran up to me screaming.

She flung her arms around me and sat down next to me. "Can you sign this for me please?" She asked politely, she looked like she was going to burst out in tears.

"I'm not a judge or contestant, sorry." I said

"I know. You're the make up artist. You're amazing, my idol. Can you get Ricky to sign it as well? You two make a cute couple."

I signed it before everything she said sank in. "How do you know about me and Ricky?" I asked worriedly.

"There's been photos of you and him in every single newspaper magazine in England" She replied happily.

"Stay here, I'll be back in a second." I said getting up, as I headed to the door I felt a sharp blow to the back of my head and then everything blacked out.
