Kate's POV

It was a good hour before Whitey gave up on convincing me. "Look. Don't believe me. It was for your safety." He stood up and gave me one last look before walking out and closing the door behind him.

I sighed and sat down on the bed, I thought about Ricky. I wanted him more than anything right now, tonight was supposed to be one of the happiest nights of my life, why did Whitey have to ruin it?

Whitey came back in half an hour later, and sat down beside me. I looked away as he grabbed my hand. "You must be hungry" Whitey whispered, which was strange because there was no one else was in here apart from us two. "Not really" I said moving away from him.

"Don't be like this" Whitey sighed. He edged closer to me and I instantly stood up. "I know you're upset but at least eat something."

I shook my head slowly.

"I'm not letting you go to bed without eating." Whitey said standing up, I had to strain my neck up to actually look him in the eye. Even though its clear that he didn't really like Ricky that much, he sounded so much like Ricky when he said that.

"Don't tell me its a weight thing, there isn't an ounce of fat on you." Whitey said firmly. Again, something that Ricky would say.

I decided to give in, realising that he wasn't going to give up until I ate. I let hime lead me down a series of corridors until we stopped.
