A/n: Sorry if my writing style changes I'm still new to this and am developing how I like writing. So if I accidentally go from present to past tense I apologize. Speaking of inconsistencies Danny's 'codename' in public is now gonna be Dante changed from Sam which I said in a previous chapter; cause Sam is already a character and that would get confusing. 3rd person POV:
Robin was combing through the files they had made on Danny Phantom and Zeal Mast one more time before throwing it down on the table in frustration.
"The GIW gave us barely anything all we know is that the kid has ghost like abilities, No known associates or background information. And this Zeal guy has even less, its like he had his past erased."
"This just doesn't sit well with me. I mean this information isn't enough to get a good feel for this mission." Said Kaldur leaning back in his chair.
"Kaldur is right something is off with these guys, besides being totally ridiculous, I mean paranormal activity, a ghost child." Wally scoffs, "There is no science behind this they're just a bunch of whack jobs who lost a supossedly 'very dangerous' weapon." Said Wally using air quotes.
"You're right, and so far our patrols around Gotham haven't turned up anything suspicious. The ecto scanners or whatever they are that the GIW gave us hasn't turned up anything either so ghost kid is probably hiding his signature." Artemis put in leaning forward and resting her arms on the meeting table the team was surrounding.
"Is there any way that we could get more information," Conner looked at Robin, "like hack their systems and find exactly what the weapon is?"
"Bats said to not let him see me messing with the GIW and their systems." Suddenly Robin smirked. "So I've been waiting until he was otherwise occupied, which happened this morning with him being called up to the watchtower."
The team all grins and leans in to see as Robin pulls out his computer and coding fills the screen as he begins to hack the Guys in White systems.
"Huh." Says Robin as his brow scrunches a bit in confusion.
"What do you mean huh?" Asks Megan flying up to look over Robin's shoulder.
"I mean that they actually have decent security on their databases, there are a lot of layers of firewalls and detailed coding to deter the run of the mill hackers."
"Can you not hack it boy wonder?" Asks Artemis raising an eyebrow.
"Psh I said it was decent. I can still hack it no problem because I'm not any run of the..." Robin pauses as he gets into their database and begins to look for any files about the weapon that was stolen.
Wally whistles as he sees all the files they have under general weapons. "What the heck are all those for!?"
"I assume to hunt the alleged 'ghosts'." Snaps Artemis getting tired of not getting any information of value.
Kaldur waved his hand in a placating gesture to calm down the team as he saw tempers rising.
"Don't worry I'll find something soon." With that Robin focused in on his hacking job and started searching for the information they wanted while copying files to his own database.
