Nothing Ventured, Nothing Gained

Nothing ventured, nothing gained,

Sitting in the pouring rain,

Taking life so steady and slow,

Hoping you'll never have to go,

Nothing ventured, nothing gained,

Wiping off all of those stains,

When you wish you had it all,

That is when you begin to fall,

I have ventured, I have gained,

I will never be the same,

No more tears and no more frown,

'Cause I don't need their phony crown,

I am a child of the one true king,

He makes me want to dance and sing,

Something ventured, something gained,

A life once lost has now been changed.
