If These Walls Could Talk

I laid on the couch on the bus. Another restless night. Like usual. I can't go back to old habits though. Not again. Not ever. I just need to figure out a good sleep pattern. Grandpa could sleep occasionally like me but that's because we both have insomnia. We would usually sit out on the couch together and see who falls asleep first. Sometimes neither of us fall asleep. And then one night when I thought all was well the one thing I hoped wouldn't happen on the bus happened. I guess you gotta do it when you gotta do it. I don't know all I know is that I hoped it wouldn't happen and it happened.

Billie's POV

I laid in bed thinking of song lyrics. I grabbed my phone and headphones. I used the voice speak thingy and when I looked at what it said it was complete nonsense. I decided to delete it and grab a pen and my song book. It was worth a shot at trying it out.

Back in California

Mickeys POV

Me and Sara went to the skatepark. It was nice. She was actually a better skater than I was. She sat down beside me. "So what's up you've been oddly quite today?" "Oh nothing I'm just thinking." I said. She looked at me. I looked back. "I'm fine Sara really I've just had a lot on my mind lately." I said.

Sara's POV

Mickey wasn't himself. I wanted to know what was stressing him but if he didn't want to say I wasn't going to force him. I kissed his cheek. "You can tell me anything. You know that right?" I asked. He nodded. "I'll race you back home." I said. He looked up and smiled. "Bet I'll beat you!" He said all while jumping up and getting on his board. I soon caught up with him. "Hey no fair! You're on the back of a car!" He yelled as the car sped up. A little trick I learned from mom. Soon I heard Mickey yell in excitement. He was gaining on me. I soon saw the driveway and let got right as we passed the mailbox. I glided into the driveway and waited for Mickey. "Damn I was only a few feet away and you still beat me." He said while hugging me. I just smiled. I got up on my tiptoes and pecked his lips. I was only as tall as grandpa and mom and Mickey was like five inches taller than me. He walked me to the door. I said goodnight and he left.

Back at the tour bus

Williams POV

It was time for the show. I was exhausted but I was ready for tonight. We all went out and saw the crowd behind the blinding stage lights. I started the guitar as grandpa sang.

A few hours later

I flopped down on the couch. Sweat dripped off my hair and onto my face. It was an awesome show. "Nice going out there Billie." Grandpa Mike said. "When did you start calling me Billie?" "Just now." He said with a smile. I gave one in return and laid back down. I was exhausted. Definitely getting sleep tonight.

Billie's POV

I sat in the back and put my feet in a container full of ice, putting ice packs on my knees too. These sort of things happen when you get older. I sighed in relief. Every joint in my body was killing me. Mike and Tre did the same thing since y'know we where all kinda jumping around. I closed my eyes for a second. The ice felt good. It also cooled us off. After about thirty minutes I pulled my feet out kept the ice packs. At this point I couldn't feel my feet. I let them regain feeling and put my shoes back on and went to the bus. I walked in and William was passed out on the couch with his guitar in hand. I grabbed it and put it in its case. It was about time he got some rest. I went to the back room and got a shower. After I got out I looked at what 80 was doing. She was watching The Office. "The Office! Without me! I feel betrayed!" I said messing with my wife. She just laughed. I kissed her and got in bed. I soon fell asleep too.

Adrienne's POV

I looked over and Billie was asleep. It was about time. He hasn't really been getting sleep.

Back in California

Jakob's POV

I put my arm around Alison. I'm happy to call her my wife. I wanted her to be that. I nipped at her neck all the way up to her lips. She was mine and I was hers. She looked up at me. "I love you." I said. I kissed her. "And I love you too Jakob." She said. I loved my beautiful wife. We had decided to wait a year or so before we had a kid. I don't think we could do a kid right now considering we're still new to all of this. I nipped at her neck once again just to mess with her. She hit me playfully. I just laughed. "That all you got?" I said in laughter. She just laughed as I kissed her again.

Back on the bus

Williams POV

I woke up with my head pounding. The light made my head hurt even more. I shut the blinds and turned out the lights, leaving the light glow of the tv on to lead me to some Advil. I found it and took two. I laid back down. I fucking hated when this happened. It was always either let it stay or get something for it. My head doesn't normally hurt this bad though. I fell back asleep a few minutes later.

Billie's POV

I walked into the living area. All of the lights were off except for the tv. I turned the lights on to hear a very angered William. "Turn the damn lights off!" He said with his voice raised. I turned them down a bit. "Ok for one you don't raise your voice at me and second what's wrong." I said. I looked at him. He was pale and his eyes were gray. He looked like he could just roll over and die. "Here let me take your temperature." I said. I took his temperature. He had a ninety nine degree fever. I put a cool rag on his head and had him sit up so he could drink some water. He then laid back down and went to sleep. His immune system hasn't been the greatest lately but I'm sure it will regain its strength. That's how I was for a while when I quit drugs. I was weak. I brewed some coffee and sat down in the chair beside the couch. I looked over and saw 80 coming in and reaching for the lights. "I wouldn't do that if I were you." I said quietly. She looked at me with a confused expression. "Wills sick and the lights hurt his eyes." I said. She nodded and proceeded to sit down. I put my arm around her as we watched the news. I guess Will won't be coming out on stage until he starts feeling better, and that's fine. Health comes first. And right now he's not in good health.
