The rest of our vacation in New York was amazing, me and KJ spent all our time out. Now we're on our way back to Vancouver for work. I'll miss vacation but I miss all my friends and I couldn't wait to tell everyone else that I'm pregnant and I'm also engaged. Kj and I found a cute way to announce to our friends our exciting news. When we were still in New York we messaged each person and organized a dinner at KJ's apartment. Of course everyone missed each other so they all agreed.
-Time skip to their apartment-
We had everything ready for the dinner and they were going to get here any minute now. I started setting the table when KJ came behind me and kissed my neck. I turned around and smashed my lips onto his. The kiss started getting heated up until Cole opened the door. Me and KJ laughed remembering the time Cole interrupted our first kiss.
"Lili, Cole, we missed you both so much" Kj and I ran into their arms and we held a group hug for a minute.
"Please tell us everything, how was Miami & New York?"
"We'll explain everything at dinner but you also have to tell us how Mexico was! It looked so beautiful based on the pictures I saw"
Madelaine, Travis, Charles, Ashleigh, Mark, Marisol, Skeet, Luke, Vanessa, Drew, Jordan, Casey, and Madchen all arrived after about 10 minutes. We sat down to eat and everyone was talking and I thought this was the best opportunity to announce one part so I stood up along with KJ
"Hey guys, first we want to thank you all for being here today and for being in our lives, we have two announcements to make so the first is" I turned to look at Kage and we whispered together
"1...2...3... WE'RE GETTING MARRIED" We had slid our rings on under and table and showed them up when we said it. Everyone screamed and congratulated us.
"So um what's the second announcement? Madelaine asked
"That is something you guys are going to have to wait for until after dessert because we need to take you all into the living room for it"
We finished eating and everyone sat down in the living room
"Okay so we're gonna hand out each one of you a gift, and you can't open it until we say so and you'll all open it at the same time" Apart from the announcement we had put in actual gifts for our friends. We passed out the gifts and made sure no one peeked.
"Okay so on the count of three can you please all open it"
"1...2...3... Open !"

"Oh my gosh, are you guys serious?" Marisol and Mark said at the same time
"Yes, we are pregnant!!!"
Everyone surrounded us all in a group hug. My hormones got the best of me and I started crying.
"You okay?" Cole asked
"Yes, I'm amazing, it's just the hormones and I know that this baby is going to be surrounded by love when he or she arrives. You guys are like a second family to me and I know you'll love this baby!"
"So you guys don't know what it is yet?"
"No, I'm only a month and a week along. Shit that reminds me I have to book an appointment for 3 weeks so we could hear the baby's heartbeat."
"Aww, what gender do guys prefer"
"Well we both don't care as long as our baby is healthy but KJ really wants a girl and I want a boy"
"If KJ gets his way that babygirl will have him wrapped around her finger from the second she is born" Lili says laughing
"That's the point, imagine having a little girl that looks exactly like Cami, same adorable face and that attitude"
"If she looks like Camila you're going to have a problem Kage, she's going to have millions of boys after her as she gets older"
"Um, that's a no, my little girl is not dating until she is 25"
"Can we go back to the idea that we don't know what it is! It could very well be a boy that looks exactly like KJ, handsome and if he gets his dads caring personality I'll be the happiest person alive"
"Regardless of what it is, it will be the most beautiful baby in the entire universe"
Mark spoke up "Can I just make a small speech to you both, I'm so happy to know that you guys are starting this journey together, you're getting married, starting a family, and you're careers are flourishing! All at this very young age and I can't help but feel so proud. When I met you both I immediately saw the connection between you two, it was like you were literal soulmates, destiny made you meet and it happened for a reason. All this is just a small part of the huge love you have for each other and I feel like a father to both of you which makes this even more amazing! Thank you for sharing this part of your very personal life with us"
"Okay now I'm the one crying haha thank you, Mark, so much, we truly appreciate that speech!
After a while, everyone left and me and KJ went to his room.
"So I have been thinking, we're engaged, having a baby, but we don't live together, yeah you spend all your nights here but it's not official. But I don't want to take over what is half Cole's house so I was thinking we could move somewhere, start making space for our little angel? What do you say Cami?"
"I would love to KJ, we did everything a little backwards but that's okay because with you everything seems right" We gave each other a sweet kiss and went to bed. We wished with all our hearts for everything to be great but we would learn soon that life isn't like that.
