3 weeks later
KJ's POV
Today is Cami's appointment to hear our baby's heartbeat. She's currently getting ready, I don't understand why she takes hours to get ready when she's already breathtaking.
"Okay, babe you ready?" She turns around from the vanity in my room
"Ready as I'll ever be"
We leave the apartment and arrive at the clinic. We sign in and wait about 10 minutes before they call Cami in.
"Camila, great to meet you! And I'm assuming this is the father?"
"Yes, I'm KJ, nice to meet you!"
"Alright Camila please lie down and lift your shirt up for me please"
Cami already has a small little bump, for being about 2 months along. I remember the first time we noticed the bump she cried for an hour.
"Well it looks like you are about 2 months along and let's hear this little angels heartbeat"
lub-DUB lub-DUB lub-DUB (I'm sorry, I don't know what a heartbeat sounds like lmao)
Hearing such a tiny noise brought on so many positive emotions. I was happy, excited and nervous. Cami turned to look at me and squeezed my hand harder. She has tears running down her cheeks and a huge smile on her beautiful face. It's true what they say about pregnancy making your skin glow.
"Baby, you hear that? That's our baby, a product of our love" Cami said in between tears
"Yes baby, it's the most amazing sound I've ever heard, thank you for the gift of making me a father"
"You and the baby seem perfectly healthy, in about 2 months you'll be able to find out the gender if you'd like and that's about it, we're done here, you can get dressed and I'll see you in 2 months"
"Yes, of course, thank you"
We got into the car and start driving home
"Babe, can you cook your famous spaghetti, the baby is craving it"
"Whatever the baby wants, she gets"
"Good, wait why did you say she?"
"Cause, I can 100% guarantee that the baby is a girl"
"No, I searched up ways to tell and all signs point to a boy!"
"Hm I still say girl"
"Whether it's a boy or girl, it wants spaghetti"
"Your wish is my command"
We got home and Cami went to take a bath while I prepared the spaghetti. After about 30 minutes I shouted out that the food was ready. As if on command Cami came rushing out of the bedroom in one of my hoodies. God, she looked so adorable and sexy. We sat at the table and ate in silence. One of the things I loved about our relationship is that we could be silent forever and it'd still never become awkward, it was always a peaceful silence.
"So I was thinking, what are we going to do about our living situations? Am I moving in with you, you with me, together somewhere else?"
"Well I like this building, we have our friends here, top security, and it's close to set"
"Well then here we stay, we should ask Lili and Cole whether which of them want to move in where and we'll take the other place"
"Yeah, I'll give them a call to come down here"
I dial Cole's phone which he answers in 2 seconds
"Hey man, I have a question for you"
"What's up?'
"Can you and Lilz come down here, me and Cami have something to discuss with you guys"
"Yeah, we'll be right there"
"Alright, they're coming"
Cole comes in followed by Lili
"What's up?"
"Okay so we've decided to stay in this complex because you are all here and it has great security but we wanted to know if you guys could possibly move in together so me and KJ have 2 bedrooms, because of the baby"
"Of course, we've told you before, we'd do it in a heartbeat"
"Great, which apartment do you guys want?"
"Well considering you're pregnant and won't be able to climb stairs in a few months, we'll take upstairs" Lili laughs
"You are so right, I didn't think of that"
"I can pack my stuff and be out of here tomorrow" Cole chimes in
"No hurry, take as much as time as you need, we still have 7 months for this nugget to be here"
By the next day, Cole already had all his stuff out of the room. The only things left were the bed and dressers but we're taking them out when we start decorating nuggets room. Since we don't know if we're having a boy or a girl yet we've decided to call it nugget. It was mine and KJ's nickname when we first met and also because he or she craves chicken nuggets a lot.

1. R.I.P Luke, you were such a kind-hearted soul, just seeing pictures of you made me feel extremely safe, and hearing those stories about what you did for your friends proved you were such an amazing friend. I hope your soul is at peace, fly high angel. ❤️
