"Bex." Gabriel said looking down at Bex. "What are you doing here?"
Bex Couldn't seem to speak, but just stare. She looked back at the table to where her family was sitting. All of them were having fun, laughing and talking. She tried to look around to see if she could escape before Gabriel said anything else, but then he started to talk.
"How have you been?" He asked.
Bex managed to say "good." back to him, but nothing else.
"That's good! I've been doing good myself as well! Who are you here with?" He said back to Bex.
"My family." She replied.
"Oh, so does uh, your kid know?" He asked.
"Yeah. I told her a while ago." She said hoping Gabriel would leave.
"Oh nice. Well I'm here with my family too. Actually, my new family. I just got married!" He showed Bex his wedding ring. As soon as he did, Bex was shocked, but relieved. "My wife is beautiful, I love her." He was still showing off his ring to Bex, but then Bex had a feeling that he wasn't done yet. "But man." He said now looking at Bex. "Don't you look beautiful." As he said that, he stroked his hand through her hair. "Just like I remembered."
"What are you doing?!" Bex said pushing his hand away.
"Shhh, it's okay babe." He replied.
Bex's anger started to boil up. "You are disgusting! Get away from me! You are a married and so am I!"
Gabriel's smile went away after he heard what Bex said, then looked at her hand to find her ring. "Oh." He said quitley. "So you are. Good for you." His tone was getting deeper. "But Bex, I thought we were getting married."
Bex looked at him With a angry and confused look. "What?! No! That was the past, before I knew who you actually were. And you haven't changed."
"Ah Bex. That was the past, but now it's the future, we could run away, be together. I can get you anything you want. Doesn't that sound good?"
He put his hand on her face again.
Bex then grabbed his hand and threw it off her. "Get off me!! I'm not going anywhere with you!! I have a perfect, and better life! I have a daughter, a husband who will take care of me unlike you, and another baby on the wa-"
"You what?!" Gabriel said in a angry voice. "Bex.... we were supposed to have kids! You said you promised!" He started to walk towards Bex pushing her against the wall. "You were right. I didn't change, but neither did you. Look at you! You can't do anything for yourself. You're just a scared and wea-" before Gabriel could finish his sentence, Bex heard another voice. "Hey! What are you doing to her?! Get off of her!" Gabriel turned around. Behind him, as another man. "Oh, we are just talking." Gabriel lied. "Doesn't look like you're just talking. Get off of her before I call the cops." The guy said as he grabbed him by the shoulders. Gabriel looked back a Bex, then at the guy. "Goodbye Bex." He said and finally left.
The guy walked up to Bex who was still against the wall. "Are you okay? Do you need anything?" He asked her.
"No, I'm good. Thank you." Bex said. She was really thankful for the guy but didn't really show it since she was still in shock from what just happened. "Okay! I'll be right here at this table. Don't worry, I'll be keeping an eye out for him. Won't let it happen again." The guy smiled at Bex and waved to her and headed back to his table. When he left, she looked back at her table and everyone was still happy. Bowie looked at her and waved for her to come back, she forced a small smile and waved back and started to head towards the table. She wanted to go up and thank that guy that helped her, but she over heard him telling a girl with blonde hair, probably his friend, about what just happened "Lizzie, you won't believe what just happened!" She decided to not go up and interrupt him and kept walking. Maybe she could thank him before they left. As she walked to the table, she debated with herself that if she was going to tell Bowie what had just happened, but when she got to the table, she couldn't. Everyone was in a good mood, even Mei and Celia were getting along. She decided she wasn't going to tell.
Once Bex sat down, Bowie looked at her with a concerned look. "Are you okay? You were gone for a while. I was getting worried. I was about to send Andi to see if you were okay." Bex's stomach dropped when he said he was going to send Andi, but was happy he didn't.
"Long line." She said. "But I'm much better. I didn't even really need to go. I guess I just needed a small walk." She told him. She really did feel better. Once she sat down and was next to Bowie, she felt safe and happy again. She knew Bowie would do anything to protect her.
"Okay good. Glad you feel better!" He said with a smile.
"So, still stalling I see? What's that 'surprise' you have to tell us Rebecca?" Mei said.
Bex rolled her eyes but ignored her. "We really do have something to tell you guys. Trust me." She replied.
Mei looked at her with a smirk thinking that they didn't have anything to say. She also looked over at Celia who thought she also knew they didn't have anything to say. "Then tell us."
"Okay." Bowie said back to Mei with a little sass. He leaned over to Bex "do you want me to tell?"
"No." She said. "I will."
"Okay. You got this love." He said back as he kissed her on her head and grabbed her hand.
Bex took a huge breath, looked over at her daughter who was pleading for Bex to say something and then to her mom who looked at her with a worried look then at her aunt who just sat over there giving her a smirk.
"You got this. Just remember, I'm happy and I'll be here. Don't worry." Bowie said to her.
Bex took another huge breath, smiled, and finally said it.
"I'm pregnant! Surprise!"
