"Sooo?!! What is it?!! A girl?! No it's a boy!! I definitely know it!! I can just tell!!" Cyrus was happily waiting for Andi at her door waiting for Andi to come out and head to school, and to also find out the gender.
"You seem way more excited then Andi does Cyrus..." Buffy teases Cyrus.
"Sorry!!! I just love babies!! They're so adorbs!!!" Cyrus squealed.
Andi didn't say anything. She didn't want to. She wasn't ready to talk about it. She walked passed Buffy and Cyrus pretending that she just didn't hear them. She was hoping that they wouldn't ask her the question again and just move on, but her wish didn't come true.
"Andi? Did you hear us?" Buffy asked.
"Oh! Huh? Sorry! No!" Andi lied.
"Oh! I'll ask again!" Cyrus said racing up to Andi. "Soooo??? Boy?? Girl???"
Andi laughed. She can always count on Cyrus for cheering her up. But that soon went away when she remembered that she had to tell the gender. "Well. It's a girl!" She forced herself to sound excited. She obviously didn't want to sound upset. She didn't want to even be upset. So she thought if she can force excitement, she will be excited.
"Wait... really?!!!" Cyrus said happily. "That's amazing!!! Do they have a name? Wait. Probably not. I'll ask later..."
Buffy walked up to Andi to congratulate her but to also prove that the universe was wrong. "Well, looks like Mr. universe is wrong... but congrats still! Also, good luck!" Buffy was joking of course, well kinda, but that didn't make Andi feel any better.
"What do you mean by good luck?" Cyrus said. "Girls aren't that bad Buffy. I have two girl cousins and they are the sweetest!!! They help me with all the boy drama!!" Cyrus knew Buffy could say things that can make things worse.
"I mean yeah I guess. But girls just can cause drama and not just that. They can take over. I have many cousins, and most of them are girls. And let me tell you, most of them are brats except for a few. Me, my mom, and my other cousin who has no siblings. But it's not just that, sisters will try to take over your parents. Especially younger ones. And I heard pregnancy can totally change big things like the way parents act... if that makes sense"
"Yeah, but that could just be their parents Buffy. I thought you told me once your aunts aren't the best parents..." Cyrus said back. "Plus, boys can also be total brats. Don't even get me started on my cousin Jack..."
"I know. But look at the chick that dated your dad Andi. Monica was it? And her evil daughter Stephanie?"
Andi totally forgot about that. About them. She remembered how manipulative Both Miranda and Morgan were. Especially Miranda and how she defended her daughter twice with stealing things.
"It's Miranda and Morgan." Andi quickly replied.
She started to believe Buffy a little. Cyrus did have a good point, but he also has very protective parents who could just be hiding all the girl drama from him.
Buffy's thoughts started to run through Andi's head.
'What if Buffy was right?'
'What if Miranda was actually was nice before she had Morgan? What if Morgan changed her?'
'What if this happens to Bex? Will my sister take over her? What if she starts to take over my life and steal my parents? Will they even care?'
'Cyrus said he only has one mean boy cousin... but what about the rest? What if his parents are hiding the girl drama?'
Andi started to get very anxious and wanted to move on from the subject.
Buffy and Cyrus looked over at Andi and could tell she was anxious. Buffy walked up to her and asked "are you okay?"
Andi couldn't tell them how she felt. She just couldn't. Plus this could just be something that will go away in a few days then she'll be excited.
Instead of telling them, she thought of the new show that just came out about people who marry people from jail and how all three of them wanted to watch it for laughs.
"Did you guys see that one new show last night? The one we all wanted to see?" She was hoping they would fall for her plan...
"Oh!!! Yes!!! It was very interesting... but did you see that one guy with the skull tattoo?? How could that woman date him?! He's a wacko!!" Cyrus said.
Buffy then joined in.
'Yes!' Andi said to her self.
After that, Andi felt a little better. Though she was still anxious. She was just hoping this would only be for the next few days.
