"Mommmmmmmmm!!!! Wake up!!!!"
Today was a very big day, at least for Andi.
Today was the day they find out the gender.
Andi was already up by 5am. She couldn't contain her excitement. She's been waiting now almost 2 months for this day.
"What time is is?" Bowie said as he sat up to look over at the clock.
"6:30am?!" Bex said also looking at the clock.
"Why are you up so early?!"
Andi sat up with a big smile
"Today is a big day!! We have to get ready for the doctors appointment!!" She explained.
"That not till 10:30. That's not till 4 hours!" Bex said. "Plus, why do we have to get ready so early? It's just a doctors appointment... it's not like it's some party."
"I know. I know." Andi said in a sad voice. "I'm just super excited. It's my first time going to see an ultrasound and we get to find out the gender!!"
Bowie laughed. "Your lucky we can't get mad at you."
"I'm just excited to see my brothe- I mean, my sibling!" Andi said with excitement.
Both Bex and Bowie laughed.
"But, you won't be mad if it's a girl.... right?" Bex said.
"I won't." Andi replied.

It was time.
Bex, Bowie, And Andi were all sitting in the waiting room anxiously waiting for Bex's name to be called back.
Bowie started to quietly hum a tune while patting his hands to the beat on his lap. He couldn't stay still. He could barely even focus on one thing.
Andi on the other hand was continuously checking her phone. Bex was supposed to get called back at 10:30, but it was now 10:45. Doctors always ran late, but Andi was hoping that today they wouldn't... but her wish wasn't granted.
Bex was surprisingly calm out of all of them. Though she was still anxious, she was the only one who just sat there. She had to fill out some paperwork, but it was just to update her information since she was only 16 when she had last filled it out.
"How are you not anxious?!" Andi said looking over at Bex. That seemed to grab Bowie's attention. He also turned and looked over at Bex.
"Maybe she is. She does that when she's about to throw up." Bowie whispered to Andi.
"Oh my! Should I go grab her the trash can from over there? Or go ask for a bag? I'm sure they have some!" Andi said back.
Bex looked over at them and laughed. "You guys... I'm not going to throw up.... I am anxious, but I'm also trying to not get myself worked up."
"Oh." Both Andi and Bowie replied.
"Rebecca Mack?"
The nurse has finally came out.
Both Andi and Bowie shot up and raised their hands and said "Here!!!"
"Oh my! Is there two Rebecca's here?? That have the same last name??" The nurse said confusingly. She looked back at her clipboard than looked back up and was even more confused when she saw Bowie.
"No. There's just one and that's me." Bex said as she stood up and walked towards the back hall.
Both Bowie and Andi followed Bex and 'patiently' waited while they grabbed Bex's weight. Then they went to the room. The nurse had to ask a few questions before she could start, but that wasn't as long as the wait. Finally, She asked Bex to lie down on the table and warned her about the cold gel that she was about to put on. Both Bowie and Andi were now a mess at this point. Andi couldn't decide rather she wanted to sit or stand... so for five minutes straight, she was just standing and sitting repeatedly. Bowie was right by Bex and holding her hand and kept saying "It's going to be okay..." After Bowie said that for the 10th time, Bex looked over at him and said "Dude. It's like the baby didn't die... or at least I hope not. But please stop saying that... your making me all anxious." Once Bowie heard what Bex said about the Baby, he started to freak out. "Wait what?! Are you feeling okay?! Have you been feeling weird?! Do you think the baby died?!" Bex just rolled her eyes and replied with "No no no. That's not what I meant. I'm pretty sure, 99.99% sure the baby is fine."
"Oh okay." He replied.
The nurse was about to put the sound o gran on, but before she did, She turned and looked over at the family.
"Do you guys have any predictions on what Baby will be?"
All of them shouted "Boy!"
The nurse laughed. "Haha! I see you two already have a girl! A boy would be nice! Let's go ahead and see if you guys are right!"
Andi finally made her decision and sat down. Bowie has finally stopped saying "you'll be okay" and Bex was still very calm.
All three of them were watching the screen and awning at the baby's heartbeat.
"So the heart rate seems to be pretty good! Let's check everything else... then we can see the gender. Save the best for last!"
When the nurse said that, Both Andi and Bowie  quietly said "what!!!" Bex turned over to Bowie and gave him a gentle slap and Looked over at Andi and mouthed the word "Be patient!!"
"Alrighty! Here's baby's head... looking pretty good! Now the hands. Awww! There they are!! And on to the feet, oh look at that! Both of them right front and center! Love that! Baby must be very proud of their feet!" The Mack's were in awe and both Andi and Bowie seemed to relax a little. "Alright... now it's the moment you have all been waiting for... let's go see the gender!!" Now Bex started to feel a little anxious and sick to her stomach. "Here we go! Oh baby... camera shy? Let's move over here... ah! Here we go!! Alright, the gender of the baby is a... Girl!!! It looks like your having another girl!!!! Congratulations you two!!! And congratulations big sister!! You guys want these ultrasound pictures?" While the nurse was talking to them, Both Bex and Bowie started to cry. Of excitement of course! They couldn't stop. Bowie kept kissing Bex while Bex said "I can't believe it's another girl!! We get two girls!! I'm so excited!!! Ahhhhhh!!! I can't wait to see who she looks like!!!" Bowie then said "I know!!! I didn't think I would be this excited, I mean of course I would be super excited no matter what, but man, it's like seeing a litter full of puppies x10!!! I can't believe this!!!"
"Oh, and yes to the pictures!!" Bex said.
Andi on the other hand was still sitting. She couldn't believe it. After a few minutes, Bowie helped Bex off from the table, then the two of them looked over to Andi. "Aren't you super excited?!" Bowie said. Andi was a little too in shock from what she had just heard, so it kinda scared her when she heard Bowie. "Oh... uh... yeah!! So excited!" She said back. "Awww!! Oh my god!! She's crying too!! Come on Andi!! I just stopped!!" Bex said to her.
Andi was crying. Not nearly as much as Bex and Bowie. Just watery eyes and a few tears. But these tears weren't happy tears.
They were sad tears.
