Liam was waiting in a seat, she could tell he was annoyed, she grabbed his hand, urged him to come with her. Gwen led him to the middle of the couch and she sat in the corner, she draped her legs over his. "Hey there, did ya miss me?"

"It depends, what do I get for my trouble?" Liam played along, she felt somehow conflicted.

She leaned up to his ear, "What about a few secrets I might know?"

"That sounds promising, but I was hoping for something a little sweeter." What a player, she wasn't so sure she felt bad.

Her nail trailed down the side of his face, "You are awfully demanding, I'm not sure I have anything sweet."

Liam reached out to find her face with his hand, rubbed his thumb over her lips, "Oh, I think you do. But first, tell me your secrets."

"I have to whisper them, they're for your ears only, ready?" Gwen pulled her legs back, sat up and straddled him, it was a bold statement for her. Again, she put her hand to one side of his head and her mouth to the other ear as discretion was of importance, "Rich said you have to wait for the briefing, I can see his notes, but you can't and the crew can hear spoken word. He's regretful, he truly is, Liam. He promised as soon as is possible he will give you all of the information plus his own accessments. Please be patient."

She started to back off but he held on a moment, "Now, you've shared your secret, where's my sweet?"

"Do you really want it, Liam?" He shook his head. "Really? Because if you're playing with me, I don't care for it."

"Oh, I really want it."

Gwen kissed his lips softly then sat up. Liam licked his lips, the hands that had prevented her from getting up were suddenly in her hair, he sat up and kissed her properly. When he let go of his gentle hold of her head and leaned back onto the back of the couch again, she sat for a moment, a little stunned. "I told you my impulse control stops within a three foot radius of you."

"Yeah, about that." Gwen kissed him again. It was addictive, forbidden, clandestine, like the first time she'd ever kissed a boy. She was almost thirty, it was ridiculous, and it had to stop before it went too far. But he tasted like the root beer lager he'd ordered and coffee. It was addictive. "Mmm, okay, that's enough sweetness for one night, I think."

She had to get up out of his lap and put a little space between them, something less intimate, she sat back down beside him. She said a little space, not a lot. "Kissing after the first date, you're a lucky guy, Liam Halstad."

"It would seem that way," he chuckled. Rich had reloaded their luggage, he refused to leave it on the plane when they left, something about sabotage or bugs. She'd just grabbed the handle of hers and pulled it to the car, no harm done. She grabbed the tablet out of her bag, "Is there internet here?"

Rich looked at her incredulously for a minute, "What do you think?"

"I don't know, that's why I asked." It took two to compromise, Rich wouldn't give an inch.

He finished packing up the rest of the baggage, ignored her out right. Liam put his hand on her leg and rubbed his thumb over her knee, "I'm sorry, I have no idea. What do you need?"

"Google. The tablet is encrypted, I understand that you have cyber professionals, but it's not like I'm going to be doing anything interesting, they'd die of boredom before they recovered anything valuable." Gwen wanted to know about the dog, simple, easy search. "Even the crap that is already on it is boring."

"That's not the point. It's a gateway, and it's easily tracked if it is locked onto." Rich said as he walked by.

She closed her eyes. "What about my laptop then? If whoever you're worried about can hack my laptop, you're in serious trouble because you've been using these phones all day long and they're far more easily discovered." She took the machine out of the bag, "Here, give it a try."
