"Yeah, so, obviously we need to talk a little bit. I know you're a little uncomfortable here. I'm sorry that we haven't chatted about this more." Gwen touched his face. "I love you and only you hold all of my heart."
Liam wasn't sure he wanted to have this conversation. "I love you, baby."
She smiled shyly, "How much do you know about BDSM?"
"Enough to keep me out of trouble." Liam laughed, "Not a lot."
Gwen sat in his lap, "Carly and Corbin aren't just my best friends, Corbin is my Daddy Dom. He kept me grounded when all I wanted to do was fall apart. I'll find some things for you to read but know that things changed last night and he's no longer the principle man in my life. In truth, he hasn't been in a long time though he still takes me in hand when I need reminding where I am. It was never about sex for us, never anything sexual. That's for him and Carly girl. He knows my limits and boundaries like they are his own, remember when I said we'd talk about it and it'd be important. Well, we're going to have to explore it. I trust you with all my heart but my head still screams at me when you hold me down. That has to stop on my part, not yours. You're so gentle, it's only my fear. We need time to discover that little bit of edge to our relationship." Gwen explained.
"Baby, we have time. I'm not sure if I'm up for all you're laying at my feet though. I can't lie, I'm struggling with jealousy, even with Carly." He looked at her through his lashes. "It's not fair, but you're mine and I don't want to share."
Gwen traced his brows, "I think that's the way it's supposed to be, I might kill another woman if she touched you. But Carly is so many things to me, I can't explain, she's my sister, my mother, my friend, my rock. You shouldn't be jealous, she can't hold a candle to you. You're my hero, my saving grace, without you, I'd be lost. Which is why we have to figure this out. I'll explain it as it comes up, yeah?"
Liam grabbed her around the waist and pulled her up to him, he rested his head on her flat tummy, planted tender kisses across the small expanse. "If it's what you need, it's what you'll get. How's that?"
"It's more than I could hope for." Gwen smiled down at him, "So how about that cuddlin' we were going to do?"
"Well, let's get to it, baby."
Gwen spent the rest of the morning wrapped up in her new husband's arms as promised. Cooper softly snored in the bed at their feet, snoozing off the morning run.
The rest of the weekend was spent being lazy, learning new things about the new people in each other's lives. Alex had promised Ava they would stay one more day which gave Gwen half a day to spend with Corbin and Carly before their plane home flew out in the afternoon.
As everyone pulled away for the beach, she waved happily to her new family. They were going to comb the beach and find a suitable playground for Ava to enjoy for most of the day. Gwen had planned a late lunch after a morning of visiting with her old friends. The next few days would be spent back on Martha's Vineyard planning evolutions, as the boys had called them, and getting back to work.
