FIREWORKS

I feel the cold in my fingers and bones.
In this quiet neighborhood I was alone.

All the windows and doors were close,
as the sadness becomes my daily dose.

This eerie place was like a ghost town.
Where darkness is pushing me down.

I could hear an uproar of glory shouts.
Seeing colorful lights like big sprouts.

Euphoria awakes from it's slumber.
My curious mind starts to wonder.

Realization strikes like a lighting volt.
I felt it into my veins with a great halt.

My beating heart slowly began to ignite.
Happiness painted my eyes with bright.

I hear it's catchy rhythm every time.
Leaving this old town would be fine.

The excitement spreads into my spine.
I'm craving to cross this boundary lines.

There's something holding me back,
A inevitable fear pulls me to come back.

How long for me to wait here and stay?
Hoping to cross this path lines someday.

To be part of your big colorful sparks.
Because you save me out of the dark.

Away from silence that deeply haunts.
By simply looking at you with a glance.

You're the reason why I cross this lines.
Seeing you lift up my smile with a shine.

You drink all away my sad ocean blues.
As you keep my world shining through.
