GLITCH
My imperfections could visibly be seen.
Like black and white into the tv screen.Scars that cracked from every mirrors.
I always drink my tears with this liquor.I tried to bury my doubts by concealing,
to stop this heart ache from bleeding.I saw hatred into their disgusted eyes.
Everyday I live my life with painful lies.Because I know that nobody's perfect.
But why I'm always be the poor target?I found my soul as a virus computer,
spreading wild fires across the nature.I had enough of their selfish games.
One day, they'll remember my name.I could let my own wings to be free.
To see what's the beauty inside of me.But I always have my worst downfall.
For I heard their voices against my wall.I tried to brush the cold off my fingers.
Inside of my head, they can still linger. If I could press the reset button.
I would climb up from the rock bottom.I wished to be reborn and start over
Until I could find myself a new lover.I let these true colors of mine paint.
Someday those haters would faint.I don't need a big pocket full of money.
For I love being my natural self honey. You were here until my tears was clear.
Thank you for loving these scars dear.I learned these mistakes from my stitch.
Out of ordinary, I'm proud to be a glitch.- - -
(Unedited)A/N: This poem tells about a girl who has imperfections and everyone disgusted her ugly appearance from everyday of her life. But she really try her best to move on and erase a bitter memory that reminded her so much pain into her chest. Also, I think the word "GLITCH." could be a perfect fit by placing it as a title, and to be a concept for this poem.
Lastly, someone had finally love her imperfections in the end. Someone who wholeheartedly appreciated her flaws as a human being.
Aww. Isn't it sweet? :) (*Cringe*) Haha!
I hope you love this poem!
