DRIVE

I found myself driving in the highway.
Breathing to throw my heavy pain away.

Droplets of tears escaped from my eyes.
Drowning deep in the sea of your lies.

It suffocates me by our own bitter past.
I try to fight, and hopefully it won't last.

I left you behind in this small old town.
Moving out won't easily bring me down.

I know forgetting you would be better.
Burning all your heart written letters.

Those lovely words aren't really for me.
Because it was meant from somebody.

Someone that deserves your happiness.
The one who can paint with brightness.

It's reminiscing me with that 'sparks.'
I watch it fades along with the dark.

This radio gave me a one familiar song.
I remember when we used to sing along.

It would never be the same without you.
Now I'm free, it's time for me to be true.

And to be strong enough to move on.
Dropping the things I couldn't hold on.

This night was all for me to claim.
Someday I would forget your name.

By turning in the other direction.
For I no longer needed your protection.

In this unknown path I'm forever alone.
A place called 'Nowhere' which I belong.
