THOUSAND MILES

I walked my way downtown tonight.
Passing strangers in the streetlights.

My blue eyes stared blankly ahead.
All I see is you in the crowd instead.

A inevitable cold rushes into my spine.
I started reminiscing our blissful times.

Back when you were into my arms.
I missed those moments with warmth.

I could feel the most breezy cold.
Running this paths as fast as I could.

I wanted to come back home to you.
Because I miss your love that is true.

I couldn't face another sad day alone.
I could still feel you into my bones.

If I could turn the clock and rewind.
You would be standing here by my side.

I was drowning slowly to our memory.
I want to find once more that 'Melody'.

If I could fall into the starry sky?
Do you think time would pass me by?

Darling I walked a thousand miles.
If I could see your most beautiful smile.

My world would lost it's shivering cold.
As our love story begin again to unfold.

If I could just hold your hand tonight.
We could kiss under the moonlight.

A/N : Hi! This poem was inspired to the song "Thousand Miles." By Vanessa Clarkton (I don't exactly what her last name is)

This beautiful piece was written when I'm listening to that "Nostalgic Song."

Anyway. I dedicate this piece to the one of my special readers named halaenoor
