(A/N I'M BACK FROM MY TRIP TO WISCONSIN!!!! 1D WAS AMAZING, AND I GOT TO SEE SOME OF MY OLD FRIENDS!!!! But now I'm back in Florida, and I have A TON of homework. While doing my honors geometry homework, I had to email my teacher a question. That's how I came up with this chapter idea! Hope you guys can relate!)

Have you ever noticed that when you're texting/ emailing/ talking to an adult, you sound/ say things differently than you do with your friends??? This is what happens to me.

Talking

Me to an Adult: *Voice gets higher and softer* Excuse me, I was wondering if you could explain this problem for me? I'm having a difficult time understanding the question.

Me to a Friend: *Voice is lower and louder: Dude! How the heck do you solve this? This is total BS.

Texting

Me to my parents/ an adult: Oh, okay. I will tell her that you said to come home at around 3:15. Her phone died, so I am letting her use my charger. Thanks! :)

Me to a friend: yo how r u doin gurrrrllll. YASSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!! CHARGE YO PHONE GURL COZ I DONT WANNA B ALONE W/ NO ONE 2 TALK 2!!!!!1111!!111!

Email:

Me to an adult: Hello. This is *insert my name here*. I was wondering if there would be any homework this upcoming weekend due to the fact that I will be out-of-state for vaction. Thank you!

Me to a friend: Heyyy! It's Ari! (Wow, I havent emailed someone in like, forever) I wanted 2 know if u were busy, since, like, u didnt pick up ur phone and u werent @ school yesterday... u ok?
