Setting: Road Trip
You are on a trip in LA to visit your favorite influencers. Grayson has just smashed a glass lamp on Ethan's head, thinking that he was an intruder. Ethan is now in the hospital being treated for his injuries. You, Grayson, James and Emma wait outside the door for the doctor's diagnosis. You have just explained everything that happened to Emma and James on the way to the hospital.
Emma: "Wow, I still can't believe you didn't think that it could be Ethan." Emma starts to nervously fidget. She continuously rubs her hands together in a circular motion.
James: "I can understand. If I thought there was an intruder in the house, I would have asked Grayson to do the same for me."
Y/n: You turn to look at Grayson. His eyes are still full of pain. You kiss him on the cheek, then nestle your head in his neck. 'Perfect fit.' You think to yourself for a second, then you lift your head as you see the doctor emerge from the other room.
Grayson: Anxious, Grayson bounces his foot.
Y/n: 'Huh, I never noticed that he fidgeted in videos. Aww, cute.' You look over at the doctor, nervous about the state of Ethan.
Grayson: "Is he really bad Dr.? Does he only have to get stitches or is it worse than that?" The doctor turns to Grayson.
Doctor: "He does only have to get stitches. Thankfully, by some miracle, the shards of glass stuck in his head didn't go deep enough to cause permanent damage. With that, we will need to keep him here for at least one to two days just to check on him and see if anything changes. For now though, he's looking quite alright. I usually have the visitors go into the room and talk with the patient. Sadly, in this case, we can't let you in until Ethan's stitches are fully put into his head."
Y/n: You shiver at the thought of the stitching process. You regain composure and ask, "So we can come in tomorrow and visit Ethan?"
Doctor: "Yes, but for now I think it would be best if you all went home and got some rest. You all look really tired and we don't want any more health complications. Don't worry, we have a great staff here and they'll take care of Ethan while you're gone."
Y/n: With that, you and the others say goodbye to the doctor and walk out to your car. Everyone is completely silent until you get home. Once at home, you are all overcome by sleep and are soon passed out on the couches in the living room.
