I stared at Masky in awe and confusion. He could come up with a plan on the spot like that? If I were in his position I would have to take at least a day to come up with something!

"I'm not sure if this is the place where Splendorman was taking, but what I do know that we need to get into there," He turned around pointed to a warehouse. I looked at him confused. "We just need to check," Masky explained looking over his shoulder. I didn't think about the statement much and just gave a simple nod.

"Good. Now, there seems to be an opening at the top of this build. But how would we get up there...?" Masky muttered now looking at the building, his back facing me. I peeked over his shoulder, and upon seeing what he was talking about I let out a small scoff.

"Easy," I proclaimed proudly.

"Really?" Masky asked, spinning on his heel to face me. I just gave him a quick nod.

"Yup! I'm great at climbing trees. I had to be good or Zach and-" I stopped myself. I don't think Masky would want to know why I was good at climbing trees... The only reason I was good at climbing was that was my only escape from my bullies. Whenever I went to stores, or when I went to school when I was little, they would chase me until I couldn't run anymore. If I wasn't able to hide or run far enough they would beat me to a bloody plump. Sure. I couldn't feel it. But it didn't mean it didn't bother me. Correction, it bothered my family...Well, everyone other than my dad. My mom always had a heartbroken look on her face when I came home, a trail of blood following behind me. "I'm just good at climbing trees, and there's a perfect tree that can get me up there," I gave him a fake smile as I snapped out of my thoughts. God, I hated it whenever I thought about that stuff.

Masky stared at me in what I guess was confusion, however, he didn't pry. Which I was thankful for. I didn't want to explain the whole bullying thing to him, not yet at least. "Perfect...Then here's what we're going to do," Masky nodded looking over at the opened, guards, and then the warehouse. "I need you to go inside of there, or at least look at the inside, and tell me how many people are on the inside," The masked man pulled off his light brown bag and placed it on the ground. He looked through it before he found what he was looking for; two walkie-talkies. Both of them had a black outside and a silver rim plus inside. Masky handed me one after setting the station.

"We'll be able to talk through this. Plus-" Masky clicked the side of the walkie-talkie, a little bit of static came from the device and then silence. "-Hoods is also on this station," Moments after, the sound of a familiar voice rang throughout the devices.

"Yeah, I'm here. So is Emily, though, she's still asleep," Hoodie explained, "How's it goin'?"

"Alright. We found a suspected stronghold for Splendor," Masky said turned to the building, "It's about two km south from the parking lot," He paused before going on, "We're going to take a look around to see if our suspicions are correct,"

"Copied. Good luck, Masky, Toby. Don't get yourselves killed, got it?" Hoodie sighed, "I don't want to do all the paperwork," This earned a gentle chuckle and reply from Masky.

"Got it, Buddy,"

"D-Don't worry H-Hoodie, I w-wouldn't let Masky g-get killed," I spoke up right after Masky. There was a quick good from Hoodie before the walkie-talkies went silent. I swiftly stuffed the device into my pocket before grabbed my hatchets.

"Now, let's get started," Masky said, his voice now going to a serious and blunt one. I nodded and went off. I stumbled in the trees, however, I didn't care less. My steps were soft and mindful. I made sure to keep hidden as well. I didn't want to fuck up and grab the attention of the guards.
