Toby
I yawned loudly as I watched tall pine trees pass by. We had been in this godforsaken car for the last eleven hours. The spinning in my head didn't stop the whole time, at this point in time I was ready to jump out of the car. Moving or not. It's not like it would be painful, and it was much better than wanting to throw up those scarcely delicious waffles.
Letting out a sigh I looked to the front of the car, there I saw Hoodie and Masky. Hoodie had his head on the car door glass, most likely sleeping. And Masky was just driving while listening to come classic music. No, not jazz or anything like that. He was listening to classic 1970-1990's music. In all honesty, I couldn't complain. And Masky seemed to be enjoying it, he tapped his finger on the steering wheel, along to beat. He would occasionally hum a little.
"Hey, Toby," I perked up a bit hearing my name being said. I looked over at Masky who gave me a quickly glace. "We're going to be stopping soon," I let out a sigh in relief. Finally, sleep in a warm bed~ "Prepare yourself. You're going to train for most of the night," I wanted to beg him to let me sleep. To leave me be, but I didn't. I knew what he was only following out Slenderman's will.
"Y-Yes, Sir," I groaned, a feeling of defeat and annoyance passing through me.
"Don't get bitchy with me Rogers. You're the one how said you would do this," Masky growled at him, sneaking a peek at me occasionally.
"I know..." I let out a sigh and looked back at the passing trees. In all honesty, there wasn't much to look at. Yes, I know some people say forests are beautiful and yes, they are. But after staring at one for over five hours everything starts to blur together. We sat there for a while until Masky spoke up.
"Let's play a game, Toby, Hoodie," Masky suddenly said, catching me off guard. I didn't take Maksy as the game type of person.
"I-I'm in. H-How about you, T-Toby?" Hoodie asked in a shaky voice. I wonder if he never stuttered? Wait, no. When did he ever wake up?
"Yeah," I nodded, not letting out a tic. "What's the g-game about?" I questioned, now looking at the front of the car.
"It's a fairly simplistic game. Someone name's a topic, and then we have to respond with a word or sentence that is meaningful to us and has something to do with the topic," Masky tried explaining. "It might be easier if I and Hoodie start," I nodded and waited for the two to start. "Okay, topic sentence. Favourite food," Masky started off.
"Sandwiches," Hoodie hummed.
"Cakes," Masky replied, "Your turn," He said before glancing at me once more.
"Umm, w-waffles," A smile played across my lips as I said that.
"No wonder you're always so eager to make waffles in the mornings," Masky scoffed. Which made me laugh a little. Did he really notice that? We've only known each other for two days.
"H-Hey! If I c-can make t-them then I-I will!" I protested in a half-joking tone. This, in turn, made Masky laugh a bit. And from then on, the three of us kept talking. Mostly random things to cure our boredom, but I still had fun. I learned a few new things about Masky and Hoodie, and they learn a few new things about me. Though, we never came across the topic of any of my or their mental or physical disorders or abilities.
In any case, we talked for about an hour until we came across a motel. Masky drove the silver car into the parking lot and we all hopped out. Hoodie and Masky both went to get us a room, well I was left by the car to prepare for training. I held my bright orange hatchet in my right hand, examining it. It made me think about why I had this in the first place, and who it had once belonged to.
