Michael's P.O.V
I woke up to the pilots voice telling us to prepare for landing. I don't remember falling asleep, but Avery was still sleeping on my chest, our hands still holding each other's. A blanket had been placed over us, it was so comfortable.
I had to wake her up. She looked so peaceful sleeping, and I know she's not going to deal with the plane landing very well. I decided to take a quick photo before whispering in her ear.
"Avery, Avery wake up, the plane is going to land. We're almost in London...Come on beautiful we can go out for coffee"
"Coffee?" She whined.
I couldn't help but laugh.
"Yes sweetie, coffee."
The plane started to dive towards the ground. Bumping along the runway. Avery held on to me again, I liked this. being close. I didn't have feelings for her. But I thoroughly enjoy her company.
"Mikey?" She questioned.
"Yes?"
"Thank you"
"For what?"
"Keeping me safe"
This is what I want, I want to keep her safe.
Avery's P.O.V
"Keeping me safe" I said.
I feel comfortable around Mikey. I feel welcomed and safe. I wasn't scared of landing, because I knew he would be there for me, and stick by me no matter what.
He makes me happy, as silly as it sounds he's probably the closest thing I've had to a friend in a long time.
I know he cares for me, but barely knows who I am, I love that. I feel like this is the beginning of my new start.
My first real friend.
