Chapter 12 what better spot for skating than the pyramids

"Where are we going now?" i asked

"To the right spot" mike said "my ability to warp myself and anyone touching me has limits, i have to be in the right spot to go to the destination i want, every place has several spots for it and now we are going to the spot for our next destination"

"How do you know if it's the right spot or not?" i asked

"a feeling i get" mike said "of course I could be wrong and stand a cm away from the right spot causing myself to warp to a very different place so let's hope i don't mess it up" he said jokingly

We kept walking for about half an hour until we reached the subway station

(Someone in enlightenment is close by)

Again? How do they keep finding us?

(They must have a strong sensor among them or someone is telling them our location)

(It's true she saved you but who knows why she did it, always keep your guard up)

"Guys, someone is closing on us" i said

"God dammit "mike said

We began moving faster and got in on the subway in the last second before it took off

" That should buy us sometime" mike said

Mike looked at me and said " we have got about half an hour until we reach our destination, you said you don't trust me because i kept things hidden from you, fine ask me what you want and i promise i will tell you everything you ask as long as i know it"

"Alright" i said "let's start by why are you offering to do that now?"

"We need to trust each other if we are going to save mom" he said "if the brothers can't trust each other then what hope do the mother have?"

Alex took a few steps backwards and put on headphones she took from her pocket

Well she knows when to give two people the privacy they need i give her that

"Ok first question" i said " since when do you know about these stuff?"

"ever since I was 10"he said" that's when my abilities started to appear, every one of us has certain age in which the Saru inside of us wakes mine woke up a bit early"

"And mine woke up just yesterday? That's a heck of a long time" i said

"Yeah um.... We were suppressing him" he said

"What? Why? "

"I and mom thought you weren't ready for that kind of change in your life"

"Did you to plan to ever let him wake?"

"As far as i knew not any time soon"

"Moving on, this will just make me angry...... Do you know who our father is?" I said

Mike's eyes went down" that's a tough one max" he said

"You are the one who told me to ask.... Is this doctor Adam guy really is my father?"

"My father is named William Anderson he was with mother for 5 years until he was killed in battle and i am sure of it because it happened right in front of me" mike said

That hurt, the father i was hoping to meet all this time is dead even though i don't recall ever meeting him but still i always had the hope to know him one day and tell me whatever my mother and brother are hiding, yeah that's right i always had the feeling that they were hiding something i guess now i know what it is
