Chapter 11

Chapter 11 things are getting quite vague

I barely had time to activate enlightenment before he head butted me, if i was a second late my normal skull would have been broken from the sheer force of it, it felt like i hit steel not human flesh

"My element is iron i can manipulate it as i please" mike said "focus on everything i do and learn"

He launched at me again but this time i did as he said and watched his movements closely

He can come at me with this speed because he makes every place he touches turn to steel making is smooth and enabling him to run faster

I tried blocking him this time by focusing my energy in my hands and make it in the shape of x, it didn't work

The moment we collided with each other he overpowered me easily and i was thrown back several meters

"You need a lot more strength to overpower an iron manipulator" he said

I could see Alex standing at the edge smiling at me in a mocking way..... Well i don't like people looking at me mockingly

I got up a bit furious my eyes shining and released a huge amount of energy both red and blue, i was planning to use both my elements, i started levitating a bit collecting my energy and about to blast mike with everything i got

"Idiot" he said

He placed his foot on the ground so hard and a piece of iron in the shape of a cylinder appeared, he punched it towards me, it hit me square in the chest pushing me backwards

I lost my concentration and all the energy left me, he did all of this so fast i didn't have time to react, due to my lack of concentration i broke out of enlightenment

I tried to get up but i found a knife pointed towards my neck, mike is grinning and the fight was over

Mike held his hand to me, i took it

"So, can you tell me how i beat you?" he asked

Well?

(Ok tell him this)

I started voicing to him what x told me " you used strength and speed against me, that final attack my energy was so big that it made my senses a bit dull giving you and opening where you created a small yet concentrated piece of iron to give me a small target so it's hard for me to dodge yet strong so it would hurt me"

"Go on" he said

"you also enhanced your hands" i continued "you covered your hand with steel at the last moment before hitting the piece of iron to give you extra strength, the hit connected and disturbed my concentration causing the breaking of enlightenment and losing the fight"

Alex whistled "you have one heck of an analyst inside you" she said while coming over towards us

"everything you said is correct" mike said "a fight between two people which can use enlightenment has many factors in it to determine the winner, having a lot of energy is important yes but also the way you use it, not to mention the special abilities every single one has"

"Ok i get it" i snapped "i am way out of your league"

"See that is your problem you give in to anger easily" mike said " you don't have control over your emotions where emotions is the key to your energy"

Alex asked mike "what exactly is your plan in retrieving your mother"

"I have a very good plan" mike said "but it doesn't include you honey"
