“ Mumma what channel did Naira say, I'm so excited to see her” he said sitting down

“ news24/7” Savitri said taking a seat next time to him, more interested in her phone messages.

“coverage is coming so she should come soon unless we missed it” he said watching the TV. “its definitely this see bharat’s young business awards 2018 coverage.”

“hmm Son” she replied not even looking at the screen.

Naira missed a step, “oh careful” he said holding her hand. She noticed him being quite caring, he helped her with her plate when they were called for the dinner and helped her up the stairs to the award ceremony. It had been an half an  hour and Kaira were sitting together waiting for their award announcements.

“ now moving on to our next set of awards, youngest business man of the year goes to Mr Kartik Goenka” with a big smile he got up giving Naira a smile then as he went ahead some uncle gave him a hug

“well done beta Manish must be proud” Kartik smiled and hurried along to receive his award. He shook the woman's hand.

“I'm very honoured to receive this award for the 2nd time I would like to dedicate it to my dad he taught me everything, he is  my everything, my idol my God thank you papa for everything this one is for you”

Naira smiled seeing this side to him, she knew he loved his dad but to this extent she didn't know. He came rushing back and sat next to her.

“congratulations ” she whispered.

“thank you baby” he replied.

“now I'm feeling nervous..” she said as she knew her award is coming up.

“you will be fine don’t worry I'm here na” he squeezed her hand and she nodded feeling reassured.

“what a speech bhai gave”  praised Salil.

“ yes whole credit he gave to bhaisaab” said Savitri.

“my sweetheart ka kab ayega?” he asked his mum.

“ I guess soon maybe after advert break mein”

“ now to the special credit awards” said the host.

“this is it” she said “I'm looking ok  na? She asked him.

“gorgeous and you will be fine” he smiled

“so our 1st award in a business journalism for outstanding piece goes to Naira Singhania Gujral”

Naira stood up, Kartik gave  her a quick hug and said “you've got this” she smiled and quickly went to the stage.

“here she is coming on the stage” said Salil 1st time I'm seeing her look she is looking so pretty”  The cameras so far were showing the stage it didn't record the hug between her and Kartik. Naira was handed the award.

“thank you so much for this honour honestly I didn't think my article would get this sort of aclaim.. I'm glad it did, and I want to thank a very special person for this”  She smiled

“he is a really inspiration for me, I look up to him alot  it's none other than..”

“Salil… said Savitri at the TV

“yeah it was me who helped her to get bhai's interview.

“He is Mr Kartik Goenka,  thank you and goodnight” she finished. Kartik didn't expect this.

“Kartik I thought they couldn't stand each other” snapped Savitri.

“ same thoughts but bhai has helped so  it's right she thanked him.” he was actually disappointed but didn't show to his mum.
