" haan Kartik bolo what is so urgent she asked

"Dadi knows Naira" he said

"dadi knows..what?" She asked not understanding

"about us, about the fact that this baby is mine and yours" he said clearly panicked.

"oh bas itni si baat" she said, he was shocked by her reaction

"what your not worried because I am, you don't know her like I do she will humiliate you sherni and i-

"bring it on, I'm not scared of her" she said standing up, but he held her shoulders and stopped her.

"baby please don't take this lightly she is crazy and she-

"what exactly did she say that's all I need to know" Karik filled her in..

"ok that's all I can work with that you relax and trust me" she said

Kartik wasn't too sure but he went along with her plan, he then left and went in the hall he saw dadi holding Kiran. Kartik went to his other cousins, shortly Naira came downstairs and Arohi called her to come over she was standing with Arjun, dadi spotted her. She came and gave Kiran to Arohi

"Naira tumhara intezaar tha, come with me"  she said

"why dadi any problem?" she asked

"I can speak here but i don't want to ruin the atmosphere and it will create a scene so.." said dadi

"Why will it create a scene what is this about?" said Arohi who then  looked at Naira who just shrugged her shoulders.

"Zyada bholi bane ki koshish maat karo beta" said dadi, Naira she looked disinterested

"fine then. NAIRA tumhare aur KARTIK ke beech mein kya chal raha Hai!" Dadi's  voice echoed through out the hall. Kartik looked towards her thinking what has she done

"Kuch nai hum saath kaam karte hai, this you know dadi" said Naira

"Sirf kaam yah aur kuch"

"Aur kuch?" Naira played dumb,

" dadi I don't know what your trying to say

" yeah bacha sach mein Salil ka hai ya phir"

"Bas dadi, you can say what you want about me but don't question my unborn child" she said with tears in her eyes.

"Nirmala bua what are you saying" said Preeti's mum

"Kartik come here" she ordered him, Kartik came to dadi and said

"Dadi, we are only work colleagues bas like she said and I'm with Tara, Naira is married so.. Naira fell to her knees

"Dadi, please mujh pe esa ghatiya izaam mat lagao" she said folding her hands to her. Kartik thought was she should careful in her condition but she is acting great.

"Dadi what is this why is Naira crying and that too in this state" said Salil seeing her bowing in front of dadi.

"Salil beta meri baat suno woh K-

"Enough! You can't humiliate my wife this way, we are leaving right now! He said to Naira.

"Chalo Naira" he said helping her get up from the ground. Naira nodded, Kartik watched on, whilst Tara was next to him.

"Salil, Naira beta, please wait" said dadi, they both turned to her. Kartik saw dadi apologise to them both especially to Naira.

'Wow sherni you certainly handled the situation hats off' he said as he saw dadi hug her.
