Here I am at 1 a.m. walking alone on the streets of New York. I have a home but I haven't felt at home there for a long time, so I live with my best friend, Ariana. She's older than me and took me in when I was only thirteen.

Finally, I get to her apartment and she's sitting on the sofa watching our favorite series, The Originals.

"You know what I hate?" I ask.

"Just one thing?" She questions sarcastically. I lightly punch her shoulder and she laughs.

"I hate how many things go wrong for her." I say quietly.

"Her being Hayley?"

"Yeah, first she gets stuck in all their supernatural problems by getting pregnant. It all just goes from there, but the one thing I hate the most is that she had to give her baby up." I tell her sadly.

"If you were in her place, what would you have done? Would you just not go to New Orleans in the first place?" She asks me. It really makes me think.

"No, I would still go, and I would even do most of it the same. Like for instance, when she goes to the square to get the poison."

"You would kill the baby?!" She asks, outraged. We're both against abortion so this really ticked her off.

"No, but when she got back to the house, and he found out that she almost killed his unborn daughter it was the first sign of him caring. That was a crucial point." I explain.

"Wow, I never thought of it like that."

"Plus, since I know when she gets kidnapped and the witches take the baby, I'd just make sure that I'm with Rebekah or something." I say shaking my head at Hayley's stupidity.

"You could fix most of the problems."

"I would also not let my daughter grow up without me." I say looking at the ceiling.

"I know."

"I wish I could be in her place. I hate how things ended up, she only wanted a family and when she found one, she lost it." I tell her.

"And I would go there with you as a witch or something. Being a wolf in the quarter without protection is bad." She says half jokingly.

"You'd have to be a powerful witch."

"Yeah, like the most powerful witch that has ever existed." She commented.

We spend the rest of the night watching the show until we pass out on the sofa.

"Mandy. Amanda!" I shoot up and see Ariana standing next to the huge, fancy bed that I'm lying on. Looking around the room I quickly noctice the oddly familiar bedroom.

"Are we where I think we are?" I ask. She nods.

"That's not all. I did magic earlier, actual magic. Remember what we said last night?" She asks. Then it hits me, but if I'm here then...

"Give me a mirror!" I say frantically. She gave me a hand mirror and I saw that I still looked like me and not the character that plays Hayley on the show.

"That means...oh my gosh I'm pregnant! I can't be pregnant. This isn't happening!" I panic. She pulls me into a hug while trying to calm me down.

"It's going to be okay." She whispers.

"Of we just got here and we're in the house then this is the second episode and that means his sister will be here soon." I tell her.

"I think you should be heading downstairs." She says quickly. I hear a door close and grab a poker from the fireplace before heading downstairs. I see Rebekah standing in front of the door looking around.

"It's nice to see that somebody around here has a sense of style." I comment from my place on the stairs. She looks at me as I walk down to meet her.

"Who the hell are you?" She asks defensively.

"The werewolf girl your brother Klaus knocked up." I say copying her line from the show. She looks surprised that I would say that.

"It's Amanda, isn't it?" She asks. So, that's why I still look like me. I traded places with Hayley. I just nod at her.

"Nice to meet you." I put my hand out for her to shake and she surprisingly shakes it.

"I'm Rebekah." Is all she says.

She looks at me closer.

"You aren't showing yet?" She asks stepping closer.

"I hope you didn't expect some miracle baby bump."

"It's hard to believe there's a person in there." She mumbles.

"Listen, I think you're a good person and this is your family, but what I'm about to tell you can not get back to Klaus that I told you."

"What is it?" She questions.

"Klaus gave Elijah to Marcel to 'prove his loyalties'." I say quickly.

"Thank you." She tells me and runs out.
