Some cute Choni. They have been together for a year and Toni is just thinking back on some good memories. (The memories will be in italics).

Toni's POV

I was sat with Cheryl. My hand was locked in hers. She had her head rested on my shoulder. We were curled up on her bed, watching a movie. I couldn't keep focused on it. I kept getting lost in my thoughts.

I just couldn't believe it. It had been a year. A year since I rescued Cheryl. A year since we made it official. A year since I got with the girl I love. I managed to get caught up in the memories.

I had brought Cheryl back to my trailer. She couldn't go back to her house. No with that monster. She will still in shock. I felt bad for her. How could her mother sending her to converstion therapy? How is that still a thing?

I let her borrow some clothes. We were laying on the sofa watching a film, when I heard some sniffling. I looked down at Cheryl to see her crying.

"What's wrong?" I asked.

"I guess I-It just really hit me. I've always known it but I guess only now I'm accepting it, becuase it won't change. My mother hates me. I don't have anyone to care for me any more." My heart broke for her.

"But...I care for you. Cheryl I'm here for you. Always. I promise." I stated. I couldn't help but think of our kiss. It was all I could think about. Was it a heat of the moment thing? Did it even mean anything to her?

"R-really?" She asks. Now is the time to ask her, I thought.

"Absolutely. And listen...uhhhh...that um-that kiss. I don't know if it meant anything to you, but it meant a lot to me. So I-um-I was wondering if- well I wanted to ask if you'd be my girlfirend?" I was so nervous. Cheryl looked shocked. Just when I thought I had ruined things between us she leaned in and kissed me. I broke it off after a moment, despite not wanting to. I needed some confirmation.

"Sooo...Is that a yes?" I said just to be sure. She giggled sofly.

"Yes. Definitely! Absolutely!" I could see tears in her eyes. Hopefully, tears of joy. I couldn't believe Cheryl Blossom was my girlfriend. She wasn't building up her walls anymore. Not for me.

It was a perfect moment. I couldn't have asked for anything better. It was everything I could have wanted and more. I never would have dreamed that my crush would actually like me back.

But that was only one of my many favourite memories with her. The first time we exchanged those three words. Those three words, so simple yet so hard to say. But once they were said, our relationship had changed and changed for the better. It made me feel closer to her. I could remember it like it was yesterday.

I was waiting in my trailer, waiting for Cheryl. She was going to pick me up in her car. We were going to a school dance together. Our first as a couple. I was actually wearing a dress, one that Cheryl had picked out for me. She thought it looked cute, so obviously I couldn't say no. There was no stopping her. She was a girl on a mission. It was a really nice dress though, so I didn't mind  But I didn't know what she was wearing. She wanted to surprise me. Although, I had very strong suspicions that she would be in all red.

The door bell rang and I rushed to open it. When I did I saw Cheryl's face, smiling brightly.

"Hey babe." She said. I looked down at her dress. Yep. Red. I knew it.

"You look absolutely jaw-droplingly beautiful." I said, grabbing her by her waist and pulling her in closer to me.

"And so do you, my love." She answered. We both grinned before leaning in for a kiss. It was sweet and short. When she pulled away, she grabbed my hand and pulled me over to her car. She opened the door for me.

"Why thank you, Bombshell." I stated, dramatically. She rolled her eyes at me. I just laughed.

We arrived at the dance. Cheryl lead me in, without breaking the link between our hands once. We noticed Veronica and Betty walking in together. We stopped to talk to them. I put my arm over Cheryl's shoulder.

"Hello to my favourite power couple. You ladies look incredible!" Veronica stated.

"Hey V!" Betty said, sounding jealous. Cheryl and I silently chuckled.

"Oh my dear Betty. You know I only have eyes for you." Veronica looked at Betty with loving eyes. She gripped her hands.

"Hate to break up this moment, but I think we all want to go in to the dance  now."  Cheryl said. I nodded my head in agreement.

Cheryl and I were dancing. There had been several faster paced songs but now it was a slower one. People were swaying from side to side. My eyes were locked on Cheryl.

"Thank you, T.T." She mumbled.

"For what?" I continued to dance with her.

"For bringing me to this dance. I've never been with anyone before. Not with someone I love anyways." I looked at Cheryl. We kept dancing. "Toni, I-I" I could tell she was struggling to say something.

"I love you." When she got the words out my heart jumped. She said it! I couldn't believe it. I didn't know if she would be ready or even if she felt like that.

"I love you too." I leaned in and kissed her. I parted our lips, still keeping our foreheads pressed against each other and still dancing. I opened my eyes and looked at Cheryl, who was grinning from ear to ear.

I couldn't help but smile, just thinking about the memories. It gave me a warm and happy feeling inside.

"You okay over there babe? You don't seem to be paying attention to the film." Cheryl explained as she put her herself on top of me. She looked down at me with a questioning look, s she rubbed my arm.

"I'm perfect. Just thinking about how much I love you." I replied.

"I love you too."

"Happy one year, Bombshell."
