Toni is rich and used to live in New York. She drives a Bugatti. She had to move to Riverdale.

Toni's POV

Me, my father, mother and brother were all taking boxes into our new house. It was a bit smaller than the last, but it was nice. The town was totally different to New York. We had only been in Riverdale briefly today, but we did come to look at houses a while back. It was a lot more peaceful than New York, which I quite liked.

Dad got a promotion in his job, but it involved him needing to work somewhere new. So we moved. If I'm being honest, I did want a change. My mom was going to look for a job close by. She had experience in a lot of industries.

My parents had given me and my brother the choice for which room we wanted and I let him choose his first. To my surprise, he picked the smaller one.

~a few weeks later~

It was my special day, my birthday. My parents told me they had a big surprise for me. I was super excited.

It was around twelve. My parents had put a blindfold over my face. I could hear my brother squealing as we walked outside. I was partially nervous because I couldn't see where I was going, but I trusted my mother who was guiding me.

"You can take off the blindfold." I heard my dad say. I pulled it off as quickly as possible. My curiosity was dying to find out what this surprise was. Once the beautiful daylight hit my eyes, I looked at my parents, who were pointing at something.

"Happy birthday sweetie." My mother stated. I rubbed my eyes, not thinking what I was seeing was real.

"No way." I said.

"Yes way." My father smiled.

"And this is mine?" I asked.

"It certainly is." My father responded.

"But how'd you know this was the car I wanted? And how'd you get the colour right?

"Honey, you've been telling us that a Bugatti is your favourite car ever since you had your first driving lesson." My mother added.

"Thank you! Thank you so much!"

I felt the emotion taking over me. I ran over to my parents and pulled them in to a hug.

"Happy birthday, Toni." My brother said. I picked him up, spinning him around which made him chuckle. He's only young, so he didn't mind.

"Take her for a spin." My dad exclaimed, throwing the keys in my direction. I caught them easily, taking a happy leap towards the car. I opened the door and took my seat, a bright smile on my face.

~start of school term~

I was nervous and a bit excited to start a new school. I knew it would be nothing like school in New York though. I used to be quite popular in New York, which did drain me. I planned on blending in more in Riverdale.

After getting ready and having breakfast, I finally went outside. I got in my car, I closed the door, turned the key and drove off.

Cheryl's POV

I was not looking forward to going back. I had always hated school and it had become way harder without Jason having my back. He used to protect me. I had gotten used to not having him there, but it was still hard. I would act like I'm this fierce and strong person, when in reality, I feel like I'm breaking inside. After all, nobody cares about me. Not even my own mother. She had always been telling me to hide the real me. She had always told me that it is sickening and deviant, so I've always pushed it down.

I got in my car and drove to school. When I arrived at school, I searched for a spot to park. I saw two empty spots and carefully drove in to one of them. I made sure there was enough space between me and the car beside me before taking my key out.

Just then, I heard a loud engine coming my way. I turned my head and saw a blue car pulling in beside me. It was a very posh car, nothing like what most people have in Riverdale. I chose to get out of my car and stand on the path, waiting to see who would get out of this car.

I had never seen this vehicle before, so I thought maybe we would have a new teacher. Shock filled my face as I saw a young girl get out. I studied this girl and completely forgot about everything my mother had been telling me. She was gorgeous. She had some pink hair mixed in with the rest of her hair. She was wearing a leather jacket. She was beautiful.

"Hello? Hi..." I pulled myself back in to reality to see this girl standing in front of me. She was looking directly at me. I noticed she was talking to me.

"Hi. Uhhh...I can see your car is parked next to mine." She said.

"Uhhh...yeah." I mumbled.

"Anyway, I don't suppose you know where reception is do you?" She asked. "I'm new here and I have no idea where to go." She added.

"I know where it is. I can take you there..If you'd like."

"Thank you. You are a life saver." She responded. I looked deeper into her eyes. They were this perfect shade of brown. I stopped myself before it was too late.

"This way." I stated and began walking. I could soon hear her footsteps behind me.

We were half way to the office and we were both silent. I tried to think of something to say.

"So, did you move here recently or something?" I had no clue what to ask. I had only known her for a couple of minutes, but that is all it takes to fall for someone.

"Yeah. Moved a couple weeks back. Used to live in New York." She answered.

"Cool. Another girl moved here from New York." I said.

"Really? What was her name? I might know her." She asked.

"Veronica Lodge." As I mentioned the name, her face filled with surprise, or shock.

"Do you know her?" I continued.

"Yeah. We were....close friends. It was a while ago though. Haven't talked in a while." She replied.

"Well. Here we are." We were at the office.

"Thank you." The girl smiled. "I'm Toni Topaz, by the way." She said, extending her hand out. I happily took it.

"Cheryl Blossom." I responded.
