Toni introduces Cheryl to her family.

This is a long one compared to my other ones.

Cheryl's POV

Toni and I had been together for a while now and we had recently moved in together. We had bought our own home and it felt amazing. Getting to wake up next to her was a gift.

Recently, however, we had been debating whether or not I should meet her family. Every time I tried asking, she would shut me down, or say no.

Toni's POV

Cheryl and I were sat at the table. We had been talking, mainly arguing about how she hasn't met my family and how I didn't want her to.

"But come on...You've met my family, by that I mean Nana Rose and my mother." Cheryl stated.

"Yeah but your mother was a bitch! She sent you to conversation therapy!" I was yelling. Just the thought of what Cheryl went through was enough to trigger me.

"Yes, but you saved me. That's something I can never repay you for." Cheryl said.

"You don't have to repay me, being with you is enough." I added. Cheryl kissed my cheek.

"Don't get too cheesy." She laughed, which made me laugh too.

"No, but on a serious note, why can't I meet your family?" She asked.

"Well, it took them a while to accept me, but they are still very judgy and opinionated people. Alothough they completely accept me now. I don't want them to pick on you." I explained. "Not that their opinion would matter." I smiled.

"So what? I can handle them."

"Yeah but they will probably interrogate you. They always say how they want me to find the perfect person. I know I have found that, but they don't. So they will probably ask a lot of questions." I explained.

"Again, you're going towards cheesy. So please stop and like I said, I could handle them. Please?" Cheryl pleaded giving me puppy dog eyes, which she knows I can't refuse.

"Uhhh...fine. I'll ask them if they want to come over." I gave in. "You know you are the most incredible and beautiful person I've ever met." I was trying to wind her up. She pushed me playfully.

"Stop. But thanks babe. I'm glad you finally said yes." Cheryl give me a peck on the lips as I pulled my phone out to text my mother.

"When and what time should they come, that's if my mother agrees?" I questioned.

"Tomorrow at six?" Cheryl said, waiting for my approval.

"Sounds good. I'll ask my mother now." I started typing on my phone.

Toni: Dear mom. Long time no see! As you know, I have been dating this girl, Cheryl, for a while now and I wanted to ask if you would like to meet her. We welcome you and the rest of the family for dinner tomorrow at ours. You may come at six. Please reply soon.

I let Cheryl read the text, make sure it was good to send.

"What are you rest if the president now or something?" Cheryl giggled.

"No if I was I wouldn't have been so polite! Probably would be added things like di-" Cheryl cut me off.

"Okay. Enough." She exclaimed.
