Choni Oneshots

Just some cute Choni again. Can't think of a description that doesn't give much away.

Cheryl's POV

I was sitting in my room, thinking of Toni. We had been together for a while. I wanted to do something for her. Something meaningful. There was something that had played on my mind a lot over the past couple of weeks. I decided I wanted to go through with it, so I asked Veronica for help.

Cheryl🍒: Hey V. Can I ask you for a favour?

Veronica😚:Sure. What is it?

Cheryl🍒: Well I've had this idea to do something for Toni for a while now. I thought I would ask for your help.

Veronica😚: Sounds intriguing. What do you need?

Cheryl🍒: I'm gonna want your opinion. Well, we have been dating for a while now, so I want to show her how much she means to me. It involves shopping.

Veronica😚: Shopping. One of my favourite words. Count me in!

Cheryl🍒: Great. Tomorrow at one? I'm going over Toni's at like six so it would give us plenty of time.

Veronica😚: See you then.

Perfect. Everything was falling in to place. I had mixed emotions about it, nervous and exited.

~next day~

Veronica and I had been shopping for a while. I had bought a cute new dress that I planned on wearing later for my date with Toni. Veronica also had bought a lot of things.

We were finally looking for what I went there for. It was a difficult search. Not many stores had them, but I wasn't going to give up. I was determined to find what I wanted.

"Finally! But they are all so nice." Veronica said.

"Yeah. They are. How do I choose?" I mumbled. I kept looking, until I noticed one. It stood out. It felt like it was practically calling my name. Veronica soon followed what my eyes were staring at.

"Yep! That's it! That's the one." Veronica stated.

Toni's POV

I heard a knock at the door. I walked towards it. Cheryl and I were going out for a meal, then she was spending the night at mine. Nothing too crazy. I was just excited to spend time with my girl.

I pulled the door open. Cheryl was standing there in a red dress. She looked amazing.

"Wow. You look beautiful." I said.

"Oh please. You look way better than me." Cheryl said. She sometimes gets a little self conscious about her body, or how she looks. I do too sometimes, but we always make each other feel better about it.

"That's debatable."

"Oh yeah?" Cheryl pulled me close and kissed my forehead.

"But honestly, you do. Like seriously..." Cheryl started giggling.

"What? What is it?" I asked.

"You got a little...uh...little lipstick on your head." She could barely talk without laughing.

"Not funny." Cheryl helped wipe it off.

"Better. It's gone." She said. I looked at my girlfriend, admiring her beauty.

"Stop drooling, Topaz!" Cheryl teased.

"Hey! I am not drooling." I protested. I put my hand out and Cheryl happily took it. We went out to her car.

Cheryl's POV

~later that evening~

The meal was great. We just talked about lots of random stuff. It was perfect. We just got back to Toni's. I was ready to give her the surprise. Toni collapsed on the sofa, as she threw her keys on the counter.

"I'm worn out. I don't even know why. We literally just had a meal." Toni groaned.

"Awww...my poor baby." She was almost falling asleep. I sat next to her. I put her hand in mine. "Toni. Don't fall asleep. I need you awake for this."

"For what?" She asked.

"It's a surprise." I replied.

"Oh! I love surprises."

"Well, I hope you like this one." I pulled out an envelope from my pocket. "Read it." I said. Toni took the envelope from my hands and teared it open. I could feel my hands shaking. My heart was racing.

Toni's POV

Dear Toni,

First, I just wanna say thank you. You saved me, in so many ways. You saved me from the Sisters Of Quiet Mercy. You saved me from literally destroying myself. You showed me that it is okay to be who I am. You taught me to accept myself. You gave me purpose. You gave me friendship. You gave me everything I could have wanted and more. So, I wanted to give you something in return. Something that you could keep close.

I promise told you and care for you when you need me. I promise to protect you because I love you, Toni. So much.

Cheryl

My head shot up. I wasn't expecting that. I think she knew why I looked so surprised.

"You do?" I asked, just to confirm.

"Yes. I love you and I mean everything that I wrote. I'm sorry it took me so long to say it. It's Just...I've only ever those words to Jason." My eyes were filling with tears. I kissed Cheryl. It was passionate. I pulled our lips apart, still keeping our heads together.

"You don't need to apologise." I said. I pulled away from her and just looked in to her eyes. I smiled. "That was a lovely surprise. Got me all emotional."

"That's not it. There's more." Cheryl said. I saw her reach for her pocket. She pulled out a box as she opened it she said "Please accept this promise ring as a symbol of how much I love you."

I nodded. I could hardly talk through the emotion. Cheryl slipped it on my finger. I looked at the ring. It was beautiful.

"It's perfect. Thank you." I kissed my girlfriend on the crown of her head. "I feel like I owe you something now." I joked.
