1 week later

"I'll see you in a couple weeks okay?" Jide mumbles into my hair, me squeezing his waist a little.

"Stay safe." I pull away and smile up at him, he waves bye to the other boys and he is gone, at least for the next two weeks.

Over the last week Simon and I hadn't really spoke to each other much in person, we wanted to keep things on the down low just now but that didn't stop us from texting. We would text each other 24/7 even if we were in the same room sometimes, we had learned so much about each other and honestly it felt like I fancied my primary school crush.

"So I was thinking.." I jump and turn round, clenching my chest. "You scared me." I sigh causing a laugh from the tall goofy blonde.

"You said you wanted to see London, so let's go." Simons face lights up, cheeks slightly red, a cheeky grin written across his face. "For real?" I look at him, a big smile on my face.

"For real, just us. Make sure to wrap up warm thought because it is fucking freezing." He laughs slightly, I nod and we agree to meet downstairs in half an hour so we can leave and have the full day in London. I am beyond excited.

I rush up the stairs and begun to do my makeup, I kept It simple since there is a chance it will rain. I do my usual face makeup and I add a little bit of natural eyeshadow, adding lashes and finally some lip gloss. I put on a black pair of jeans, A grey sweater, a cream coat and I pair the outfit with a black hat, tartan scarf, black boots and finally a black bag, I felt good.

I let my hair fall onto my shoulders, it has gotten longer recently and I want too sure if I should cut it again or let it grow out, I guess I'll see how I'm feeling

I let my hair fall onto my shoulders, it has gotten longer recently and I want too sure if I should cut it again or let it grow out, I guess I'll see how I'm feeling. I don't do much to my hair as the cold air will mess it up anyway so I stick my hat on, grab my phone and go downstairs to wait on Simon.

To Simon
I'm ready, are you?

From Simon
I'll be 2 minutes :)

I am so excited to finally be able to spend some proper time alone with Simon, no sidemen, no Jide to worry about and best of all no cameras. Everything is just us and that's the way I want it all the time. I look up and see a cheery blonde boy running down the stairs, car keys in hand.

"I'll drive, let's go," I hadn't actually managed to spend much alone time with Simon, it excited me. We get into his car and once again I am shocked, I have been in his car before but it never fails to amaze me. He puts a song on and we begin our journey to the big city.

"Hey you like him?" I turn to Simon, Post Malone was playing and I honestly have always had a deep love for him, his songs spoke to me on a different level.

"Yeah, I like all his stuff." He glances at me with a big smile on his face. He looks back to the road and I go back to looking out the window, singing along to the song.

"Just a warning the traffic might be bad, we should play a game." I can hear the grin on his face without even having to look at him. "Sure what game?"

"Truths? You start." My heart drops a little as even though I am a 23 year old I haven't done much that someone my age should've.

"Okay uh, have you ever cheated?" I thought I'd start it basic but still something I'd like to know about him.

"Never. Have you had sex?" I catch his eye as he glances over at me. I mean I have but I don't like to count it as it was with my ex Chris.

"Once, but I don't like to count it." I mumble, turning away to look out the window. I see we are almost in the city centre and everything excites me, the rush of people, the traffic, the smells.

"See if I didn't move away, do you recon we would've been friends? Since I would've went to the same school." I turn to look at him, the sun hitting his face perfectly but don't let that fool you, it is still freezing outside.

"I think so yeah, maybe we would've gotten together sooner too." He grins at me.

"You got any ex's?" He takes his eyes off me and focuses on the road as we turn into a car park.

"Uh one yeah, he's a bit of a stalker to be honest." I wanted to tell him about Chris phoning me the other day but it's not his business, it's something I have to deal with.

"Let's go." We both get out of his car and the cold mid January air hits me, instantly giving me goosebumps. I look around and in the distance I can see Big Ben and the London Eye, I see waves of people weaving in and out of crowds.

"Now I think we should do the sights first, my treat." Simon walks round the car and smiles at me, he reaches down and takes my hand, lacing our fingers together.

"I'm good with that," I look down at our hands and I can't help the smile on my face, he clearly notices it and he squeezes my hand before leading me off towards a busy street.

We walk a few blocks till we are almost right in front of Big Ben and London Bridge, we cross London Bridge obviously stopping so I can get some photos. "Do you want to get a photo together?" I look at Simon surprised that he would even ask but I nod.

"Excuse me can you take a photo of us?" Simon asks a sweet looking lady who agrees, we stand against the barriers of the bridge and he wraps his arm around my waist pulling me closer.

Simon thanks the lady before taking my hand again and leading me down a set of stairs, we walk past London dungeons and to be honest it looks quite scary. We walk a little further and we are greeted by the extremely long line to the London eye, I look up and I am amazed at how tall it is.

"I'll go get tickets, you stay here." Simon leaves me and I just stand awkwardly looking around. I take my phone out and see I have five missed texts from Chris;

From Chris
Listen I'm going to be in London this weekend meet me?

Please Millie :(

I miss you.

C'mon don't tell me you've found someone new

I know you'll give in and reply soon.

"Let's go." I get a fright when Simon appears behind me with two tickets in his hand, I put my phone away and smile up at him. He once again takes my hand and leads me to the front of the line, people giving us funny looks and whispering.

"Simon there's a line." I mumble, tugging on his arm a little.

"Fast pass." He shows me the tickets and they say 'London Eye Fast Pass' which means we can cut the line and go straight into it. I shrug and follow him to the front, we wait a minute and soon an pod comes to our level and we get on, a few other people get on with us but I don't mind.

It starts to rise and I can't help but stare out the big window, drinking in the glorious city in front of me. I feel Simons hands on my hips and he rests his head on my shoulder, this is how I want things to be. I want to be with Simon, I really do.
