It is now 10PM and most people at Harry's are absolutely smashed, I have made good friends with Freya and Sarah who is Callux's girlfriend and we are all currently sitting on the couch with, of course, a bottle of wine while the boys are causing a mess with their other presumably YouTuber friends.

"So Millie, Josh told me that somethings going on with you and Simon?" Freya takes a sip of her wine, waiting for my answer, "I mean nothings happening but I do kinda like him. I doubt he likes me back though," I mumble, I glance at my wine glass before downing the whole thing, I feel like I'm going to need it.

"I think you guys would be great together," Sarah beams, the two of them are in happy relationships and honestly it makes me sad, I'm happy for them but it makes me sad that I have never felt what it's like to be loved by someone else.

"I guess we'll just see what happens," I shrug and glance round the room, almost instantly locking eyes with the tall blonde, he smiles at me causing my cheeks to heat up once again and I quickly look away.

"Go talk to him, the bells are in an hour anyway. Maybe you'll get your kiss," Freya winks at me before shoving me off the couch towards Simon, I sigh loudly before walking over to the blonde.

"Hey," he smiles down at me, a glass of whiskey in his hand, "Hey," I smile back, suddenly feeling awkward. "I don't know if I said it but you look beautiful Millie," Simon moves closer to me, his cheeks are a rosy red I presume from the whiskey.

"Thank you, you scrub up well," I laugh causing him to laugh with me, we stand in silence for what feels like hours but it's a complete comfortable silence.

"Here I want to show you something," Simon reaches down and takes me hand, leading me to the balcony.

I am greeted by the cold London air and an absolutely breathtaking view. You could see almost the whole of central London from here, the O2 arena was almost right next to the building.

"Wow," I whisper, leaning slightly over the balcony to get a better view, "it's amazing isn't it," Simon puts his hands on my waist and leans behind me, slowly wrapping his arms around my waist pulling me closer to him.

"You know, I do remember," he whispers, I turn my body to face him, his arms still protectively around me.

"The kiss," he must see the confusion on my face when he says that, he remembers us kissing, I can't believe it. "You remember?" I whisper in complete shock, he nods and a small smile creeps onto his lips.

"I meant the second one, the first one was just pure luck but when I kissed you the second time I meant it," he leans closer to me, our faces inches apart, I feel his hot breath against the cold air.

I am at a loss for words, I don't know what to say which makes him frown slightly. "You meant it," I whispered, repeating what he said trying my hardest to comprehend it.

"Millie I've been falling for you since the first moment I saw you walk into our house," I stay silent, wanting him to continue but also not wanting to say anything.

"I've been scared about what JJ would say but I spoke to him," Simon spoke to Jide about me, about him liking me and Jide didn't try to kill him, I'm impressed. "Oh," is all I could fathom, my brain completely numb and I'm pretty sure it doesn't help that I am slightly drunk.

Simon frowns, his eyes change from bright blue to a cold grey, "Millie," he whispers, moving his hand to my chin slowly tilting my head up to meet his gaze.

"I didn't think.." my mind trails off but I am brought back to reality when I hear Harry shout that there's only five minutes to the bells. I look back up at Simon, "I didn't think you liked me," my voice is shaky, I can't seem to think of what to say next.

"Of course I do, I thought you were amazing from the moment you stepped through that door." He smiles softly, hand still on my chin holding it in place, "I've wanted you from the second I saw you, but I never thought I could," his arm that's wrapped around my waist tightens, pulling me closer to him.

"I've fallen really fuckin' hard for you Millie," he chuckles, eyes turning back to their bright blue state.

"5,4,3,2,1!" Everyone in the apartment shouts.

Without saying a word I grab hold of Simon's face and I pull him to me, our lips crashing together. My arms snake around his neck as we sink into the kiss, moving in utter harmony. Butterflies erupt in my stomach, making me feel all giddy.

I haven't felt like this in years, I haven't been close to anyone like this in years and it felt so good. We both pull away from the kiss, out of breath but with massive grins on our faces.

"I've waited for that," Simon smiles as he pulls me in for a hug, holding me tightly against his chest while he draws small circles on my back with his thumb.

"Happy New Year by the way," I laugh noticing that we completely forgot about the bells, Simon looks down at me before kissing me again, only a brief kiss this time.

"Happy new year," he whispers, sending shivers down my spine.

"We should go back in," we've been standing here for ages just enjoying finally being able to be with each other, I'm not sure I'm ready to tell everyone though, I don't even know where Simon and I stand.

"let's go," Simon smiles down at me before placing a kiss on my forehead, taking my hand he opens the door and we walk inside. Simon drops my had as if on queue, "Where have you been!" I hear a familiar voice, I turn to see Jide running up to me tackling me with a hug, "I was outside," I laugh as he lets go of me, finally able to catch my breath, Jide looks at me, then Simon, then back to me, shit.

"What were you two doing?"
