Chapter 7

No one's POV
The next morning

"Sabrina! Get your butt out of the bathroom!" Daphne yelled pounding on the door.

"Daphne! Get out of the way!" Puck said as he ran into her.

"Puck! Get a life and stop putting jam in the toothpaste tube!" Sabrina yelled from inside the bathroom.

"Can everyone stop yelling!" Red cried from her doorway. When everyone stopped and looked at her, she blushed and scurried downstairs. Sabrina opened the door and muttered something about wanting her own bathroom as she waked down the stairs. Puck followed and Daphne waddled inside the bathroom.

"Maybe when everyone gets home we could practice." Red said from the kitchen. She sat at the table and grabbed her bagged lunch. Sabrina followed her actions.

"Ew not again..." Puck muttered. "Practice sucks." He leaned against the door frame, crossing his arms.

"No it doesn't!" Daphne yelled from the top of the stairs. She ran down and snatched her lunch. "Why do you hate it anyway? It's not that hard..." Puck grabbed his as well.

"Because it involves effort. And anything that involves effort involves me not liking it." Puck replied as he opened his paper bag. He took out a bag of chips, a ham sandwich, and a juice box. "Nope!" He yelled as he threw the items in the trash can.

    "What are you doing!" Daphne yelled as she raced to retrieve Puck's lunch.

"I'm a king! I have no desire to eat food for peasants!" He cried.

"Uh I have a question...how are you going to pay for lunch? You do have to pay for it right?" She asked, looking at Sabrina for her second question. Sabrina nodded silently. Red smiled then looked to Puck for a reply.

"I'll just steal Grimm's wallet like I did yesterday." He said with a grin. Sabrina glared at him. Daphne and Red braced themselves for a screaming brawl between the two. But instead they got Sabrina shaking her head, getting up, and walking away. They heard the front door slam.

Red raised an eyebrow. Puck's grin faded. And Daphne looked confused as ever.

"What's her problem?" Daphne asked. Red shrugged. Puck sighed. Then he noticed both girls staring at him. He grinned once more.

"Who cares?" He asked as he ran to where Sabrina had went. (Obviously he did;) Daphne grinned. She then opened Puck's bag of chips that she had retrieved from the trash.

"They're made for each other!" She said.

"It kinda seems like they hate each other..." Red argued. Daphne shook her head.

"Nope...it's more of a love-hate relationship."

"Kinda like you and Pinocchio?" Red asked. Daphne almost choked on a chip. She started having a coughing fit. Once she stopped she stared at Red.

"Yeah no way!" She said before eating more chips.

Meanwhile...

"Grimm?" He asked as he walked behind the house. Sure enough Sabrina was there, leaning on the bricks.

"What do you want?" She snapped. Puck raised his hands.

"Hey look, I'm not here to fight. I just want to...uh...mend things...Y'know?" He said smiling slightly. Sabrina eyed him carefully, looking to see if he was being serious.

"Sure you do..." she sarcastically replied.

"Grimm I don't even know why you're mad!"

"I'm mad because you didn't trust me Puck!" She shouted suddenly. She sighed, regrouping. "Look, Puck...I know not telling Granny isn't the best idea. But...I kinda want to solve this on my own. I don't want the people I love getting hurt...cuz last time with the Hand...that was so close. My family took that hard. And I just want to make sure nothing like that ever happens..."

     They stood in silence as Sabrina's voice faltered. She half expected him to laugh at her for her reasoning. The other half was hoping he'd just walk away and leave her be.

"Okay..." Puck said to Sabrina's surprise. "Ok, Grimm...I'll...I won't tell Granny and I'll help." Sabrina scoffed.

"Who said I wanted your help?" She asked as she cocked her head to the side.

"Please! Grimm, you wouldn't have gotten away from those grey things in the first place!" Puck said rolling his eyes. Sabrina sighed.

"Yeah I guess so..." she thought aloud. She bit her lip not wanting to give into the fairy...but also knowing that she did need his help. Yuck...sounds weird when you think about it...

      "Fine..." she finally stared. Puck glanced up at her, surprised that she agreed.

      "What?" He asked.

      "I said fine! Help me!" Sabrina cried waving her arms. "Are you happy now?" Puck grinned.

      "Very..." he responded. "We need a code name."

       "A code name? For what?" Sabrina asked confused.

       "Look Grimm, if your family doesn't know about this then we'll need a name for our little case without giving anything away..." Puck rambled.

        "Well I don't care...it sounds dumb anyway..." Sabrina said crossing her arms. Puck looked like he was deep in thought before-

         "SABRINA! PUCK!! WE'RE LEAVING FOR SCHOOL!" Daphne yelled.

         "That would be our cue to leave." Sabrina muttered. Puck muttered something about thinking about names during school. He started to walk away when Sabrina grabbed his hand.

         Puck looked back at her, surprised. Honestly, Sabrina was even surprised that she grabbed him. She dropped hand quickly and looked to the ground.

          "Uh I just wanted to say thank you...for helping me with this...and for not telling my family. It means a lot to me." She said in a voice barely higher than a whisper. Puck nodded.

           "No problem Grimm." He said. Sabrina looked at him. No hint of sarcasm. No tricks. No teases. He said it as if he understood. Did he understand?

            She then realized she was staring at him. Her face heated up as she shook her head.

           "We should go to the car..." she muttered as she walked past him. Puck watched as she walked to the car. He sighed as he soon followed.

           "DO WE HAVE EVERYONE?" Uncle Jake yelled over the car engine he just turned on. Everyone nodded and he began to pull out of the driveway (A/N assuming they have a driveway...)

         Sabrina sighed to herself in the back. She just hope she was making the right decision. For her and her family...
