No ones POV
Next day...

With everyone piled in the car Jake began to drive them to school. Nothing was really said due to the loud noises the car was making. So it was only a matter of time before the car stopped in front of Daphne and Red's school.

"Have a good day kids!" Jake smiled as they got out. Daphne returned to grin to her uncle before turning to Sabrina and mouthing 'text me' to her. Sabrina nodded and sighed.

They watched as the two girls walked inside before taking off again.

"Hey Uncle Jake!" Sabrina called out. Luckily he heard her and nodded. "Anything weird happening in town lately?" It took awhile for him to process what she said before understanding.

"No, not really! A couple of calls here and their but nothing continuous!"he yelled in reply. "Why?!"

"No reason!" Sabrina shouted. She glanced at Puck in the back seat. She rolled her eyes at the fact that he wasn't paying attention at all. But instead playing with the seat.

She sighed as she glanced up at the road. She hoped to herself that whatever she was dealing with was just...a misunderstanding. Or something that's just not dangerous at all. Then everything would be fine.

But all she could do was hope for now. Hope and then find answers.

Time skippp ;)

Daphne's POV

Red and I sat next to each other at our desks. We both hadn't spoken about the mystery since yesterday. I assumed things would just naturally come into place but actually thinking about it, it would be hard to talk about some top secret stuff in a classroom of nosey students.

Red looked passed me and smiled.

"Nick! Over here!" She cried. My eyes widened.

"What?! Red what are you doing?!" I whispered. I turned around to see Pinocchio heading towards us. I silently groaned.

No I don't hate hate him....I just hate him kinda.

He just was always a show off of how smart he was. It made me feel...stupid. And feeling stupid was not fun.

"Relax Daph," Red assured, "the guy has no friends! We have to be nice to him! If not we'd be considered bullies."

Pinocchio sat in front of us and turned his chair to face us. He had a small smile on his face. It wasn't smug...yet...

"Good morning girls." He greeted

"Hey." Red replied.

"Hmm." I mumbled.

"How has you're morning been so far?" He continued.

"Crumby." I answered.

"Okay! How was yours?" Red asked resting her head on her hand. Pinocchio shrugged.

"Quite alright i suppose. I have not been sleeping well. In fact I-"

"HAVEN'T JUST SAY HAVEN'T!" I cried. Before he could respond an adult walked into the room. She was not our teacher.

"Hello students, I'll be subbing for Mrs. Dowden for today." She said, her voice unnaturally high.

"Where's Ms. Long?" A girl in the back of the classroom asked. I think her name was Jane...

"Oh...uh she had a bit of an accident. She's alright but...he has pretty bad injuries. I'll be honest and say that the police do not know what caused her injuries."

"What kind of injuries?" A boy by the windows asked. I don't actually remember this kids name.

"Um...well she had scars and cuts. She was found in her backyard with these pebbles all around her. But there was no way of telling what happened. But I'm positive she will be fine and back in no time!"

I didn't listen to the rest of her introduction. I turned to Red who just stared at the sub with a raised eyebrow.

"Who tells a class that their teacher is severely injured?" She mumbled. I rolled my eyes and nudged her.

"Red! Pebbles! Backyard! Injuries! No way of knowing-"

"Shhh! Yeah yeah I get that. But what are we getting from it?" She whispered. I bit my lip, thinking.

"We're gonna have to visit Ms. Long and ask her some questions."
