17. Team?

I suck at titles I'm so sorry.
Pucks POV

After it was all sorted out, Grimm called Charming and let him know what happened.

"Did you get any pictures?" He asked. Sabrina rolled her eyes.

"No sorry, didn't have time to take out my phone as crazy stone creatures chased us down the block." She said wittily. Charming had said that he taken care of things at the house, giving an excuse to why they would need to come back there and investigate.

Meanwhile, Brandon and Taylor decided to go home and process all the information they had learned. But not before Grimm made them promise to not say anything.

"You think they'll listen?" Marshmallow had asked. Grimm didn't say anything but pushed the two younger girls forward, gesturing for them to start walking home.

Red and Daphne were a few steps ahead of Grimm and I, leading the way to the house. Grimm was silent...a big announcement on her part making me think that something was wrong.

"So..." I started. She didn't look too keen on me starting to talk. But as I always do, I ignored it and continued speaking. "How do you think that went?"

The blonde sighed as she looked elsewhere. Her arms were crossed over her chest and she looked like she didn't want to discuss what had happened. But I had already asked the question so there was no going back now.

"What do you mean Puck?" She asked meanly. I shrugged not wanting to anger her but knowing that there was probably nothing I could say that would get me another reaction.

"Do you think telling them was the right choice?" I questioned. Her mouth turned into a thin line as she thought about my words. Then her shoulders drooped.

"I mean what was I supposed to do? Lie?" She responded, her voice a somber tone. "They SAW the things....it's not like they would believe me if I said they were fake or just some trick of the mind. But..."

Her voice faltered but I wanted her to continued. Knowing her for so long, I know that when she holds things like this inside, she gets angry more easily.

And everyone hated an angry Sabrina Grimm.

"But What?" I said. She sighed as she looked to me.

"Maybe i shouldn't have...I mean this is only going to make it harder right? Now Daph and Red are helping and even though they know what they're doing, it's dangerous.

"And Taylor and Brandon don't know what they're doing which means we have to look out for them even more. Maybe I should tell granny and she could just take it over."

Sabrina looked down at her shoes as she trudged along the sidewalk. She looked...sad. It was a depressing sight to see; a girl who could have so much confidence in herself and her ability...just lose it all. She looked like she had given up and for some reason it hurt me to see.

So instead of using my normal, "mmm that sucks" kind of reply. I tried a different approach.

"No."

"No?" She repeated, looking at me. "No what?"

"No you're not giving this to Granny. You're going to do this without her and you're going to do it your way. And if that means taking some risks and watching out for some more people then, that's what is going to happen."

She looked shocked that I said all of this. She blinked and curiously lifted an eyebrow.

"But it dangerous to-"

"UHP UHP UPH! No! Everything's dangerous. But it's less because you're not doing it alone. Now I know you probably could," I looked away from her. "But...also I said we were a team. And we're going to do this together."

Even though I wasn't looking at her I could feel her smirk.

"But I thought you don't work with others?" She asked, voice filled with amusement.

"Yeah well I'll make an exception for you, Grimm." I replied, turning to look at her. Her crystal blue eyes were on me and she was smiling widely.

"Thanks." She whispered.

"No problem." I replied.

"YO LOVE DOVES!" A voice said. We looked up to see Daphne and Red looking at us. "Where are we telling Granny we were?"

Kinda a short on today! Little Puckabrina cuz I miss them. Also I feel like Sabrina would definitely overthink any major decision she would make and secretly Puck would hate it and want to make her feel good. CUZ HE LOVES HER. Anyways thank you for reading! 💕
