Taylor's POV (ooooooOOOO)
We decided to take the bus to the house that Sabrina's sisters said they were. I was suspicious but I didn't ask any questions. I don't want seem too nosy.
Even though I was.
I had so many questions. Questions I know they would never answer. Because if I ask they would now something was suspicious.
But I need to stay on their good side. If I didn't...we'll let's not think about that.
I turned my attention to something else. And...my eyes landed on Brandon. He sat beside me, his brown curly hair falling into his brown crisp eyes. Jeez he was cute.
He noticed me staring and smiled at me, a hint of rosy color flooded his cheeks.
I felt heat spread my face as I quickly turned away. I started playing with my hair, embarrassed.
"Taylor..." Brandon started. I looked at him immediately.
"Yeah?" I asked.
"I wanted to say that I-"
"Omg, how long does it take to get a bus to a sub-suburban house!" Daphne yelled, clearly annoyed. I chuckled as I looked around.
"We should be there in a couple of minutes. Just let's focus on the game plan." I said. "When we get there...what exactly are we saying to them?"
"Uh..." Daphne looked at Red nervously and I knew something was up.
"I mean we're going to ask if everything is okay...right?" Brandon asked. Daphne and Red strained in their seats. I raised an eyebrow.
"Right you guys?" I continued.
"Uh yeah, of course." Red said finally. "We just need to make sure that they're okay...and that they're not in trouble." Daphne nodded clearly agreeing with Red.
"Okay..." I replied still not completely sure they were telling the truth. But I decided to not question it. Soon we'd arrive.
Sabrina's POV
A woman opened the door and smiled at us kindly. She had silky blonde hair that waved from the wind outside. Her eyes were bright green that twinkled when she saw us.
"Hello! How can I help you three?" She asked.
"Yes, we're with the mayor and we saw your post about your problem." Charming started. She made an 'o' with her lips and then smiled.
"Yes! Yes of course come in!" She said as she moved to the side. She closed the door behind us and then led us to what appeared to be the backyard. "I'm June
"So can you tell us more about what happened?" I asked. The woman nodded.
"Well, a couple of months ago, my daughter had seen a cat outside. She wanted to bring it come but, my husband is allergic. So we finally convinced her that leaving out a plate of food for the cat would be as good as keeping it. My husband and I never really knew if the cat came back but something was eating the food so we just let it continued.
"Recently, when my husband and I were asleep, I heard a growling or something from outside. It wasn't until the next morning where I went out and saw all of these grey pieces of stone or hardened clay."
"Did you clean it up?" Charming questioned.
"No, no," she answered. "My husband told me to leave it for you to decide what it was."
At that moment she opened the door to the backyard and there in front of us were what looked to be millions of little grey shards all over the grass. And they led right into the woods.
"This is going to take a while." Puck muttered beside me.
